    6 speed stick.
    350+hp.
    17-18" rims.
    Racing suspension..MacPherson would be nice.

The 257 can do 0-60 in under 3 seconds and reach 215mph with 450bhp, and its being compared to a mustang?

Finally, someone is asking the same question thats been on my mind. And GT40, I know somebody with a 2 Litre Turbo ROVER (old grandads car - I know, I drive one!) which is 275BHP, I believe that probably a damn site quicker than your stock mustang? Let alone a LeMans racing car, thats like me saying my 214 could smoke a Williams F1 car for christ sake. Are you some kind of retard?

  5. Re: MORE BRITISH RUBBISH!!!!!!!

  7. Re: MORE BRITISH RUBBISH!!!!!!!

ok asshole british cars do not suck for one thing they made what the sports car is today. They have some of the fastist cars in the world and most the advanced. I would like to see any nascar or chart racer to compete with the technology as a F1 car. The Mclaren F1??? faster than any production shit u can think of. Jag XJ220, Spectre R40, TVR sp12, Aston martin V12, Bentley. You think they are shit?.

And for Le mans racers the Jaguar XJR 9lm set the fastest lap of any Le mans race. Do you know Bentley they did not suck last year, and this MG didnt either. Last year it was makin the Audis sweat because in the wet this was faster than any other car on the track.

So think about what you said.

    It's the Porsche 917 in 1971.

  9. Re: MORE BRITISH RUBBISH!!!!!!!

    Brit Racing cars rule!!
    Look @ the Lotus Esprit..
runs on a measly 3.5L V8 with 2 small turbos.
only 350hp..and I bet it'll smoke pretty much any other car in it's category on the track!!

    Lotus Elise..
    small....1.8L engine.
    130HP I think..
    0-60 times of 5.4-5.6 seconds.
    handles like a dream!! =)
not to mention there are better versions of the Elise out there now too =P
    Lotus Exige? =P

    McLaren F1?
    Cosworth Escort/Focus/RS200?
    Jaguar XJ220?
    TVR Speed-12?
    Ultima GTR?

    so many more to list.
    Need I say more?

  10. Re: MORE BRITISH RUBBISH!!!!!!!

The Porsche 917 did set the fastest time yes but the track has been changed many times and the XJR 9LM did set the fastest on the new track.

  11. Re: MORE BRITISH RUBBISH!!!!!!!

yup i agree this guy has no idea wut a car is wut a messed up guy-he doesn`t have a civic civics rock- he has a ford fiesta

  12. Why post this car with no specs?

Why are they posting this car if it doesn't even have any specs except the engine. There's no use for posting it up here with no information.

  13. Re: Why post this car with no specs?

read all the forums before u post

  14. Re: Why post this car with no specs?

It's really hard to get info on these cars...It's rare that you get lots of info becasue they want to keep all of their info secret from the other teams.
But when I went to an ALMS race they had this info sheet that had the top speed on these cars: LMP900: About 205 mph
    LMP675: About 185 mph
GTS: About 195 mph(yes faster than the LMP675 class)
    GT: About 170 mph

That's what remember I don't hae the thing right in fromt of me but those are pretty accurate.<!-- Signature -->

  15. Re: Why post this car with no specs?

    Heheheh..sounds bout right dude.
Sure the GTS is alittle faster..but when it comes to the twisties..the 675s will be crusing very quickly.

  16. why post this car with absolutely no information to follow it?

    why does supercars.net do this?

  17. Re: why post this car with absolutely no information to follow i

So people who do know stuff about the car can submit it to SC.net. Also, they've provided lots of nifty pictures for the kiddies here.<!-- Signature -->

  18. Re: why post this car with absolutely no information to follow i

You can't get stats on race cars, typically. Accept it. Not like it's important to know them, either, since all that matters is who wins and who doesn't when it comes down to racing.

  19. Re: why post this car with absolutely no information to follow i

Stats are generally kept secret due to competition =)
You don't want to let the people you race know how many ponies are under the hood until the end of the season now do you?

It's a LM car , so it's a supercar that can be on this site.

  22. Re: why post this car with absolutely no information to follow i

Yes..but then HP figures are limitied...
    Torque figures are usually not.
    And alot more things contribute.
Weight, gear ratios, and especially RPM numbers and when the power kicks in =P
I'm not sure about HP limit, but I'm sure of the engine size limits.
