The WS6 goes to the doctors.....

  1. Well recently I've had troubles with the rear-end in my WS6.

But when it comes to a 10bolt 7 1/2" rear end from an S10 put into a vehicle with 350 horses of Corvette power eventually something's bound to break. Well mine did.

I'm upgrading to a 4.10 gear and an Eaton Posi differential. Not looking to run slicks with this car so that's why I'm avoinding the moser 12bolt plus I don't want to spend 2400 on a rear end.

But the car was parked outside my buddies house and when we went to get the trailor look what suprise the birds left me..... lol Pics on the install comming soon...

  2. Well good luck.

  3. Just replaced the clutch in mine this past weekend, good luck. Oh, how many miles does your car have on it?

  4. Good lord did you get hit.

  5. It's a 2000 with 68,000.

  6. I'm talking about the bird shit. You should really try to squeez them suckers off the car. I mean I dont know if it matters too you or not but bird shit scratch the paint job and not only that it also eats away at the clear coat/paint.

  7. I actually meant to quote the guy above you <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/wink.gif"></A>

  8. You need new wheels.

  9. I hope that someday soon (when I go out and apprentice mechanics) i get to be a doctor to work on cars like that. That would be cool.

  10. No I don't....

    But I'm gonna get some anyway <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/wink.gif"></A>

  11. 4.10 gears...shit thats low for those cars.

  12. Not really, that's the most common gear swap.

  13. it has two overdrive gears..

  14. those are probably 17 inch with 275's all the way around, I dont think its a priority

  15. EB knows this full well.

  16. Good luck with that swap. Hopefully the rear end will stand up to the punishment better this time.

  17. I believe that's why he's saying it's low for those cars...because of the fact it's 6speed.

  18. Being geared 'low' usually means a high ratio.
