November 1, 2005, Las Vegas - As the feature vehicle manufacturer of the 2005 SEMA Show, Honda displayed nineteen tuned versions of the Civic Si to celebrate its release. The Tein Civic Si was one of these factory-backed cars and was built to showcase what is possible with the new Si platform. Tein is a manufacturer of high performance suspension components which include lowering springs and over 15 types of coil-over suspensions.

For their Civic Si, Tein add their Tein coilovers with the company's in-cockpit Electronic Damping Force Controller. But this show car goes well beyond just suspension mods. The engine sports a ball-bearing turbo kit with RC 550 cc/min injectors, an AEM fuel rail and fuel pressure regulator, and a custom exhaust system.

Rotora's big brake kit is combined with stainless steel brake lines and performance pads. The radical exterior is thanks to a custom 55 mm widebody kit, modified front bumpers, side skirts and rear bumpers, and an APR carbon fiber front diffuser, canards and rear wing.
