As was the case with Volvo's subtly refreshed 2014 S80 sedan, the facelifted XC60 crossover has also been scooped without any camouflage in China, which, coincidentally or not, happens to be the home of the Swedish brand's owner, Geely.
Although there's always the possibility that the cosmetic changes seen on the XC60 may be for China only, we expect the facelifted crossover to be offered globally.

Most updates take place up front where Volvo's designers removed the inner lights between the headlamps and the grille, which has grown in size and now sits on the front of a redesigned and more pronounced hood. The headlamps themselves are also new as is the bumper.

The revamped exterior mirrors with longer turning signals, the addition of a chrome strip on the tailgate and the re-sculptured rear bumper with new exhaust tailpipes complete the exterior revisions.

Photos of the interior reveal that Volvo has re-done the XC60's instrument panel that adopts a new layout with a central speedometer, similar in styling to that of the new V40 compact hatchback.

Look for the 2014 model XC60 at a major international auto show next year.

  2. really really dislike volvo current designs
  3. Looks like a Chevy CR-V
  4. The XC90. That #$%#er's like a decade old. Work on that, guys.
  6. I remember thinking Volvos were cool when I was a kid
  7. It still sells like crazy
  8. the XC90 is by a very far margin the best looking volvo currently on sale.

esp. since the C30 got facelifted into a bug.
  9. The current XC90 still looks nice IMO.
