The Ferrari F12tdf represents one of the most focused expressions of Ferrari’s front-engine, V-12 grand touring philosophy. Developed as a more aggressive evolution of the F12berlinetta, the limited-production model combines naturally aspirated power with extensive aerodynamic revisions, chassis upgrades, and rear-wheel steering. An exceptionally low-mileage example is now being offered through Sealed by RM Sotheby’s, presenting collectors with an opportunity to acquire one of Maranello’s most distinctive modern performance cars.
According to the auction listing, this F12tdf is finished in Extra-Range Rosso Corsa Metallic and has covered just 1,060 miles from new. The car is offered with an estimated value of $3 million to $3.5 million, reflecting its rarity, presentation, and position within Ferrari’s modern limited-production lineup. The auction is scheduled to run from October 21 through October 28, 2026, in Lake Worth Beach, Florida.
The F12tdf’s mechanical package is central to its appeal. Its naturally aspirated 6.3-liter V-12 produces a factory-rated 769 horsepower, delivered to the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Ferrari also reduced weight through extensive carbon-fiber construction and revised the aerodynamics to generate substantially greater downforce than the standard F12berlinetta.
Chassis development was equally significant. The F12tdf introduced Ferrari’s Virtual Short Wheelbase system, incorporating rear-wheel steering to improve agility and responsiveness. Combined with wider front tires, upgraded carbon-ceramic brakes, and revised transmission ratios, the system helped transform the front-engined grand tourer into a more focused high-performance machine.
Ferrari produced just 799 examples of the F12tdf between 2015 and 2017. Its name references the Tour de France Automobile and the competition-bred 250 GT Berlinettas that established Ferrari’s reputation in the late 1950s. Rather than simply adding power to the standard F12, the manufacturer reworked the car’s aerodynamics, chassis, and weight distribution to deliver a more specialized driving experience.
With its striking red metallic finish and exceptionally low recorded mileage, this 2017 Ferrari F12tdf offers collectors a rare opportunity to acquire one of the final era’s most compelling naturally aspirated V-12 Ferraris. Its combination of limited production, high-revving engine performance, and advanced chassis engineering distinguishes it from conventional luxury grand tourers.
