The Rimac Nevera R is the world’s fastest-accelerating road car. It rockets from 0–60 mph in just 1.8 seconds, hits 125 mph in 4.3, and blasts to 186 mph quicker than a Koenigsegg or Bugatti Chiron Super Sport. This is made possible by an all-electric powertrain capable of producing 2,078 horsepower.
Based on the original Nevera, the R version is an improved grand tourer that offers more grip, enhanced feedback, and a sharper handling experience. The Nevera R receives an entirely new nose, a larger front splitter, and a massive rear wing, all of which contribute to increased downforce without sacrificing efficiency. It gains serious aerodynamic benefits thanks to new bodywork that generates 400 kg of downforce—accomplished with Michelin Cup 2 tires, lighter brakes, and recalibrated torque vectoring, aiming to deliver sharper driving dynamics.
Top Gear was able to test drive a prototype of the Nevera R on their newest video on YouTube. It has been tested in brutal test conditions and crash simulations.
