FOR SALE: 2019 Bugatti Chiron Sport

One of only 60 Chiron Sports produced

At the 2018 Geneva Salon, Bugatti unveiled the Chiron Sport, a lighter, more driver-focused version of the Chiron. Shedding nearly 40 pounds through extensive use of carbon fiber, lightweight wheels, and thinner glass, it even debuted the worldโ€™s first carbon fiber windscreen wiper.

Beyond weight reduction, Bugatti fitted the Sport with roughly $275,000 in chassis upgrades, including sharper steering, torque vectoring, stiffer springs, revised anti-roll bars, quad exhaust tips, and improved aerodynamics, enabling it to lap Italyโ€™s Nardo Ring five seconds quicker than the base model.

Production was limited to 60 examples, one of which is now listed on Bring a Trailer. This particular car wears Black Carbon body panels, a $315,000 option, accented with French Racing Blue detailing on the signature line, grille, cowl, and mirrors.

It also carries a carbon-fiber splitter, diffuser, rear wing, black exhaust outlets, and polished aluminum Course wheels, staggered 20 and 21 inches, shod with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. Braking is handled by French Racing Blue titanium calipers over massive carbon-ceramic rotors.

Inside, carbon-fiber Sport seats are upholstered in Beluga Black leather with French Racing Blue stitching, extending across the dashboard, headliner, and doors, complemented by exposed carbon-fiber trim, a $68,000 option. Comforts include navigation, automatic climate control, a seven-speaker Accuton audio system, and polished aluminum accents.

Powering the Chiron Sport is Bugattiโ€™s Volkswagen-engineered 8.0-liter W16, from the Veyron but refined to deliver 1,479 horsepower. Performance figures are staggering, with Bugatti quoting a 0โ€“62 mph sprint in just 2.4 seconds and a maximum speed of 261 mph. This particular car is fitted with an exposed carbon-fiber engine cover.

Configured with $435,900 worth of optional extras, its total price when new reached $3,695,900. Notably, the car also took part in Bugattiโ€™s โ€œ400 Driveโ€ event at Cape Canaveral, Florida, in 2023, where it achieved 247 mph on the Space Force Stationโ€™s Skid Strip.
