FOR SALE: 2014 Ferrari 458 Speciale

One of around 3,000 Speciale models manufactured from 2013 to 2015

Unveiled at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, the Ferrari 458 Speciale represents the most extreme evolution of the 458 platform. While its silhouette closely mirrors that of the standard Italia, extensive engineering and aerodynamic revisions transform the Speciale into a far more focused machine.

Ferrari’s Style Center worked alongside Pininfarina to rework most exterior panels, subtly improving airflow without altering the car’s familiar proportions. Drawing directly from Formula 1 manufacturing techniques, engineers heavily revised the 4.5-liter naturally aspirated V8, introducing strengthened internals and a 14:1 compression ratio.

Chassis and electronic upgrades pushed the Speciale to new dynamic heights, delivering the sharpest steering response and greatest lateral grip of any road-going Ferrari of its era. Active aerodynamic flaps at both ends adjust in real time to balance drag and downforce, while Ferrari’s Side-Slip Control system seamlessly integrates the adaptive dampers, dual-clutch transmission, and electronic differential to provide remarkable stability and confidence at the limit.

Now listed on SBX Cars, this 2014 Ferrari 458 Speciale shows 12,118 kilometers at the time of cataloging. Finished in Rosso Corsa over a Nero Alcantara and red two-tone interior, the car remains low-mileage and unmodified. Built originally for the Japanese market, it arrives with a largely single-owner history. Factory options include a front suspension lift, adaptive xenon lighting, red contrast stitching, lightweight carbon trim and seats, and 20-inch forged wheels fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.

Power comes from Ferrari’s mid-mounted 4.5-liter naturally aspirated F136F V8, developed with Maserati and featuring a flat-plane crank, dry-sump lubrication, and a 14:1 compression ratio. Output is rated at 605 horsepower and 398 lb-ft of torque, sent to the rear wheels through a Getrag seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. Chassis hardware includes magnetorheological dampers, E-Diff3, F1-Trac, carbon-ceramic brakes with yellow Brembo calipers, and active aerodynamic elements,
