FOR SALE: 2011 Ferrari 599 SA Aperta

One of only 80 units produced

Unveiled at the 2010 Paris Motor Show, the Ferrari 599 SA Aperta is one of the most exclusive front-engined roadsters ever produced by Maranello. Created to celebrate Pininfarina’s 80th anniversary, the limited-edition model was restricted to just 80 examples worldwide.

Derived from the 599 GTB Fiorano, the two-seat roadster uses the uprated 5,999 cc 65-degree V12 and six-speed F1 Superfast gearbox from the limited-run 599 GTO. The engine produces 661 horsepower at 8,250 rpm and 457 lb-ft of torque at 6,500 rpm, enabling a 0–100 km/h (62 mph) sprint in 3.6 seconds and a top speed of 202 mph.

Now offered for sale on Collecting Cars, this particular SA Aperta has covered just 647 kilometers since new. It features a steeper windshield, twin rear aerodynamic buttresses, a modified exhaust derived from the 599XX, and a removable soft top that can be stowed when not in use. The “SA” designation pays tribute to Sergio and Andrea Pininfarina.

The car is finished in Rosso Corsa with Scuderia fender shields, a black soft top, and silver accents on the mirror caps and roof pillars. Carbon-fiber trim appears on the side sills and ahead of the rear wheel arches. Inside, the cabin is trimmed in Nero leather with red accents, white contrast stitching, a white tachometer, and aluminum and gloss-black trim.

It rides on 20-inch five-spoke alloy wheels with Pirelli P Zero tires, framing carbon-ceramic brakes with silver calipers. Equipment includes the Manettino drive-mode selector, launch control, dual-zone climate control, carbon-backed sport seats, and the RadioNavi system. The sale also includes Ferrari Classiche certification, documentation, invoices, and two keys.
