Ferrari has unveiled the new Ferrari CZ26, an exclusive One-Off created through the marque’s Special Projects programme. Designed by the Ferrari Design Studio under the direction of Flavio Manzoni and commissioned by a client in the United States, the CZ26 presents a radically different interpretation of the modern Ferrari berlinetta.
Built on the formidable technical foundation of the SF90 Stradale, the CZ26 retains the donor car’s ultra-high-performance credentials while introducing an entirely new visual identity. The goal was to create something instantly recognizable and deeply personal, combining strength, precision and purity in a design that looks firmly toward the future.
The result is one of the more striking recent creations from Ferrari’s Special Projects programme.
At the heart of the design is a distinctly horizontal theme and an unusual two-box silhouette. The body appears to flow from a single central capsule-like form, supported by four muscular volumes around the wheel arches. From the front fascia to the sharply truncated rear, the entire car has been conceived as one continuous and highly sculptural composition.
The front end is dominated by a full-width functional grille integrating ultra-slim lighting modules, cooling openings, sensors and other technical components. A new vertical leading edge gives the CZ26 a particularly assertive appearance, while the rear adopts an equally dramatic solution with a clean truncated tail and cantilevered taillights.
A strongly horizontal diffuser further emphasizes the width of the car and contributes to its planted stance.
Ferrari has pursued an exceptionally clean approach to the bodywork, allowing functional components to emerge directly from the primary surfaces. Cooling intakes, aerodynamic elements, the front fascia, rear diffuser and carbon-fiber details around the wheel arches all form part of the same cohesive design language.
The CZ26 also draws inspiration from influential Italian industrial design of the 1970s, although those ideas have been interpreted through a distinctly modern and technological lens.
The cockpit visually blends into the bodywork through the use of black trim around the roof and pillars, creating the impression of a dark capsule embedded within the car’s exterior form.
Its bespoke finish is equally distinctive. The body is painted in exclusive Argento Veloce, a liquid-effect silver designed to highlight the complexity of the surfaces and the precision of the body lines. Rosso Lampante accents provide a sharp contrast, particularly around the car’s functional and technical elements, while pigmented carbon fiber adds another layer of visual complexity.
Specially designed wheels combine gloss black paint with a shot-peened finish, while natural-finish titanium exhaust tips underline the car’s technical character.
Inside, the exterior theme continues with a bespoke black technical fabric and unique seat inserts produced using additive manufacturing. Rosso Lampante accents mirror the exterior color scheme, while an embroidered CZ26 logo provides another layer of personalization.
Matte technical fabrics contrast with satin-finish carbon fiber, alongside a special gloss carbon fiber featuring metallic filaments woven directly into the material. Body-colored elements on the doors and upper dashboard complete the cabin.
Ferrari also extensively reworked the aerodynamic package. At the front, the cooling system and airflow management were redesigned through a reoriented central radiator pack and dedicated bypass ducts, improving cooling efficiency and increasing downforce over the front axle.
The underbody and vortex-generator system were also revised to optimize aerodynamic balance, while air curtains in the outer sections of the front bumper help manage airflow around the front wheels and reduce drag.
At the rear, a large upper spoiler and a completely redesigned diffuser work together to generate additional downforce without sacrificing aerodynamic efficiency. The engine cover has also been redesigned with dedicated vents to improve thermal management and ensure effective heat dissipation.
The Ferrari CZ26 is ultimately what the Special Projects programme is all about: taking an already extraordinary Ferrari and transforming it into something completely individual. Underneath, it remains a SF90 Stradale at heart. Above the surface, however, the CZ26 is a bold and highly distinctive vision of what a modern Ferrari One-Off can become.
