Hypercars are the new zenith in today’s automotive landscape, transcending the boundaries of the supercar to create a space occupied only by the most outlandish things that can still be called cars. While some of the relatively larger luxury and exotic car companies have created their own interpretations of the hypercar, many of these vehicles have been crafted by speciality automotive boutiques or singular-focused companies who are looking to showcase new technologies or smash land speed records. It is these very outfits that we will be focusing on, in this list of hypercars that are available to purchase in 2021. In terms of the everyday automobile, none of these will be household names; but they will be more than familiar to those who worship the automotive deities.
Below we have a list of the production focused hypercars versus the race variants that have popped up in recent years. If you are in the market for a hypercar in 2021, the below list includes hypercars we are likely to see sometime in 2022 or even 2023, but we know manufacturers are taking deposits and speccing cars for buyers now. There are several models that we did not include because while they are listed on their manufacturer pages, we know they are sold out or deliveries for 2021 have already been completed. We also didn't dive into the track-special hypercars because this page is more focused on production cars. Hypercars like the Pagani Imola, Lamborghini Essenza SCV12 and Senna GTR are definitely hypercars by definition, but it just felt like they deserved their own space.
What's New for 2021s Hypercars
2021 is an interesting year in terms of hypercars because we are expecting to actually see deliveries of some of the most anticipated hypercars that have been tantalizingly close for the last few years. We should see the Hennessey Venom F5, Rimac C_Two, Aston Martin Valkyrie and Mercedes-AMG Project One this year. In terms of the hypercar regulars like Bugatti and Koenigsegg, we expect to see a number of additional one-off special edition cars being released for special clients.
