FOR SALE: 2018 Pagani Zonda Unica

A one-off Zonda commissioned by the founder of Top Car Design in Spain

The upcoming sale of the 2018 Pagani Zonda Unica Roadster at Broad Arrow Auctions on May 16 represents far more than the offering of a rare hypercar—it is the appearance of a singular automotive artwork born from the enduring legend of the Zonda lineage. Estimated between $11.186 million and $14.130 million, the Unica is among the most exclusive and emotionally compelling creations ever produced by Pagani Automobili.

Few vehicles have influenced modern hypercar culture with the same permanence as the Zonda. Conceived by visionary founder Horacio Pagani, the model emerged from a philosophy rooted in the harmony of art and engineering. From its 1999 debut, the Zonda shattered convention through its carbon-fiber construction, naturally aspirated AMG V12 power, and aircraft-inspired styling, quickly establishing itself as one of the defining supercars of the 21st century.

The Unica Roadster elevates that legacy to an even more exclusive level. Commissioned through Pagani’s bespoke Unico division for the founder of Top Car Design in Spain, chassis 76135 is a one-off interpretation of the celebrated Zonda Tricolore formula.

The car is finished in striking Blue Carbon with gold accents and Italian tricolor detailing over a blue-and-white interior which showcases Pagani’s signature fusion of exposed carbon fiber, milled aluminum switchgear, quilted leather, and artisanal detailing.

Power comes from a naturally aspirated AMG-derived V12 producing 604 CV, paired with the increasingly mythical six-speed manual transmission—an element that dramatically enhances the car’s desirability among collectors.

Showing just 2,617 kilometers from new, the Unica has appeared at elite Supercar Owners Circle events in Switzerland and was notably driven by Horacio Pagani himself on a Swiss airstrip. In a world increasingly defined by digital performance and hybridization, the Zonda Unica remains a pure mechanical masterpiece and arguably one of the most dramatic road-going Zondas ever created.
