Record-breaking Miura gathering meets the new Revuelto SV as Lamborghini showcases six decades of supercar innovation at Pebble Beach
Lamborghini brought its past, present, and future together during Monterey Car Week 2026, turning the annual California automotive celebration into a showcase of everything that has made the Italian marque one of the most recognizable names in the supercar world.
The centerpiece was undoubtedly the Lamborghini Miura. Celebrating the model’s 60th anniversary, Lamborghini assembled “43 examples of the legendary V12 supercar at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance”, creating the largest gathering of Miuras ever held anywhere in the world.
The historic display, located on the Concours’ third fairway, brought together examples from across the Miura lineage and paid tribute to the car that helped establish the basic architecture of the modern supercar. With only 763 Miuras produced between 1966 and 1973, gathering 43 examples in one location represented a remarkable concentration of one of Lamborghini’s most important models.
From Miura to Revuelto SV
While the Miura provided the emotional centerpiece of Lamborghini’s Monterey presence, the company made sure its future was equally impossible to ignore.
The record-breaking Miura gathering coincided with the global debut of the “new Lamborghini Revuelto SV”, which made its U.S. appearance during the week after being unveiled at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering. The latest addition to Lamborghini’s Super Veloce family represents a significantly more focused interpretation of the V12-powered Revuelto.
With its naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 combined with three electric motors, the Revuelto SV produces a claimed “1,050 horsepower”, making it the most powerful production Lamborghini yet. Lamborghini quotes 0–62 mph in just 2.4 seconds and a top speed exceeding 214 mph, while extensive aerodynamic revisions generate substantially more downforce than the standard Revuelto.
The Revuelto SV subsequently took center stage on the prestigious Concept Lawn at Pebble Beach, appearing among some of the most significant automotive debuts of Monterey Car Week.
A special Miura-inspired Revuelto
The connection between Lamborghini’s heritage and its electrified future was made even more obvious by the “Revuelto Miura 60° Homage”.
Limited to just “99 examples”, the special series was created specifically to commemorate six decades of the Miura and was displayed alongside the historic cars at Pebble Beach. Rather than simply celebrating the past, Lamborghini used the special Revuelto to demonstrate how its most famous design and engineering achievements continue to influence its modern cars.
It is a fitting approach for a company whose latest flagship combines a traditional naturally aspirated V12 with modern hybrid technology.
Lamborghini’s electrified lineup takes center stage
At the exclusive Lamborghini Villa, the company also showcased its current range of electrified performance cars.
Joining the Revuelto SV was the “Temerario”, Lamborghini’s successor to the Huracán and its twin-turbocharged V8 hybrid-powered High Performance Electrified Vehicle. The newly introduced “Urus SE Performante” also made its U.S. debut at The Quail, bringing Lamborghini’s Performante philosophy into its plug-in hybrid Super SUV lineup.
Together, the three models offered a clear picture of Lamborghini’s direction: electrification is no longer a future proposition for Sant’Agata, but a central part of the brand’s current product strategy.
Ad Personam takes over the Lamborghini villa
Beyond the cars themselves, Lamborghini used the Villa to showcase its extensive “Ad Personam” personalization program. Guests were able to explore a wide selection of exterior paints, leather finishes, wheels, brake calipers and interior materials, highlighting the enormous degree of customization available to Lamborghini customers.
The brand also brought several luxury partners into the experience. Xerjoff presented its Lamborghini x Xerjoff Blends fragrance collection, while Roger Dubuis displayed its avant-garde watches and Italian audio specialist Sonus faber demonstrated its handcrafted loudspeakers.
Wheels Up returned for a second consecutive year, adding its own hospitality experience to the Villa.
Lamborghini honors its heritage at Pebble Beach
Lamborghini’s presence at Monterey extended beyond its vehicles. Automobili Lamborghini Chairman and CEO Stephan Winkelmann and Design Director Mitja Borkert once again served as Honorary Judges at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, reinforcing the company’s longstanding connection with the event and its emphasis on automotive design and craftsmanship.
Ultimately, Lamborghini’s Monterey Car Week 2026 presence was about more than simply displaying expensive and exotic machinery.
The “43 Miuras represented where Lamborghini came from”, while the Revuelto SV demonstrated where the brand is heading. Between them sat an increasingly electrified lineup that shows how Lamborghini intends to preserve its performance-focused character while embracing an entirely new era of automotive technology.
Six decades after the Miura helped invent the modern supercar, Lamborghini is still using Monterey Car Week to make one thing clear: the supercar story is far from over.
