Ferrari’s tradition of pairing front-engine V-12 performance with open-air driving reached another remarkable chapter with the 812 Competizione A. Developed as the convertible counterpart to the track-focused 812 Competizione, the limited-production model combines Ferrari’s most advanced naturally aspirated V-12 technology with an exceptionally exclusive production run of just 599 stated examples.
This 2023 Ferrari 812 Competizione A, chassis number 293819, is now headed to RM Sotheby’s The Zurich Auction on September 26, with an estimated value of $1,950,000 to $2,450,000. Finished in Extra Range Blu Elettrico over a Cuoio leather interior, the car has remained under single ownership from new and had accumulated just 1,576 kilometers at the time of cataloguing.
At its core is Ferrari’s 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V-12, which develops 819 horsepower and revs to an extraordinary 9,500 rpm. Power is delivered through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, enabling a 0-to-100 km/h sprint in approximately 2.85 seconds and a top speed approaching 340 km/h. The 812 Competizione A was consequently positioned among Ferrari’s most powerful naturally aspirated road cars.
Produced on May 9, 2023, this example was delivered to France five months later through SF Grand Est Mulhouse. Its extensively specified factory configuration added more than €213,000 to the original purchase price. Highlights include Extra Range Blu Elettrico paint, Yellow brake calipers, contrasting Yellow detailing, carbon-fiber aerodynamic components, painted Scuderia Ferrari shields, diamond-polished forged wheels, and a removable carbon-fiber hardtop. Paint-protection film was installed by Garage Zénith SA in November 2024.
Inside, the cabin combines Cuoio leather with matching Alcantara carpeting. Daytona racing seats feature Blu-embroidered Cavallino logos, Blu seatbelts, and Blu Sterling stitching, while extensive carbon-fiber trim and a Yellow tachometer reinforce the car’s competition-inspired character.
Despite its performance-oriented mission, the 812 Competizione A is equipped with Apple CarPlay, adaptive headlights, a front suspension lifter, passenger display, heat-insulating windshield, integrated audio, and front and rear parking cameras.
Registered for road use in Switzerland in April 2025, the Ferrari received an engine oil, filter, and brake-fluid service in September 2025, followed by its most recent inspection at Garage Zénith SA Sion in August 2026. It is accompanied by Ferrari’s special-series “Yellow Book.”
Combining ultra-low mileage, single ownership, extensive specification, and one of Ferrari’s final naturally aspirated V-12 formulas, this 812 Competizione A represents a particularly compelling modern collectible.
