Since I own an Alfa Romeo—and publish the national Alfa Romeo Owners Club magazine Alfa Owner—I’m always interested when Alfa sends out a press release. In the waning days of September, they sent one that really caught my eye…in it the Milanese manufacturer announced that its new SUV, the Stelvio, had broken the SUV lap record at the Nürburgring. Huh? There’s an SUV lap record for the Ring?!
