If I'm not mistaken, even Motor Trend said the engine was a 6.3L, not 7.0L.

You didn't see what was posted earlier in the month. It was a screenshot from the GM inside, by one of the employees, that the LS7 was only 6.3L.
I trust what comes from GM more than I do that program.
