  1. It that true? That's slow! It has 300 hp and 283 ft/lbs torque. I think it would be quicker than that.

No it's not true. That is the time for the N/A Z. The TT runs to 60 in about 5.0 seconds.

  3. Re: 0-60 mph in 6.5 sec???

they must have made a mistake

  4. Re: 0-60 mph in 6.5 sec???

is the quarter mile wrong too, and do u think that a non turbo z would beat an rsx type-s or a celica gt-s?

  5. Re: 0-60 mph in 6.5 sec???

in a 1/4 mile race easy. celica's and rsx's are ff's so the 300zx will be way faster off the line.

  6. Re: 0-60 mph in 6.5 sec???

The non turbo should just out strip these two. Straight line definately, take off just.

  7. Re: 0-60 mph in 6.5 sec???

Wrong! The TT runs mid-5's from 0-60.

  8. Re: 0-60 mph in 6.5 sec???

Yea. I think that sounds about right.

  9. Re: 0-60 mph in 6.5 sec???

who would u say would win.. a ZX non turbo or a hatchback runnin a B16A or zc

  10. Re: 0-60 mph in 6.5 sec???

I'm quite sure it's not 300 hp....From what I know, in Japan, they aren't allowed to make production cars that are more than 280hp. They definitely over rated that part... Can anyone correct me or what?

  11. Re: 0-60 mph in 6.5 sec???

lol...yeah in japan , but in north america and the rest of the world
    300Zx's have 300bhp manual,280bhp automatic.
Besides whoever said this is a jap-version , it's not because if it were it would be called 'fairlady-z ' not 300Zx. ;p

So you are right about the 280bhp limit in Japan , but that limit doesn't apply to the rest of the world and the other versions (exports ) are not limited.

  12. Re: 0-60 mph in 6.5 sec???

they've made a mistake...6.5 time is for the non turbo manual...5.1 for the 2 seater TT and 5.3 for the 4 seater TT
