10 second Quater

  1. if a car that does a 0-100 in 3.4 it must really get some speed over the quater mile

This car would never do 1/4 in 10 sec. Race prepared skylines with about 1000bhp just do it in 10 sec

Don't count this car out yet. I mean, a car that has a naturally aspirated 502 chevy engine can run the 1/4 well into the 9's, take Jesse James 32 Ford. It has a 502 Chevy big block, and runs through the 1/4, as he said, in 8 seconds. So this car could run through the 1/4 in 10 seconds no problem.

it does do 1/4 in 10s. Check the Koenigsegg website.

The guys who claims it cant because 1000BHP skylines can hardly do it.

Thats because they arent prepared properly. ANY 1000BHP car should blitz the 1/4 in sub10.

The 1000TT Viper does in sub8 with Nitrous!

Most 1000 skylines just arent set up for the power.

BTW the CCR does it in 9s flat. STOCK

I really wouldn't be surprised if it could do a 10 second 1/4 mi. I mean, almost 700 hp for a 2600 lb car? simply amazing.

dudes. The thing about those skylines is, half of them that actually do have 1000bhp have atorque curve that starts very small, say 350 is pound- feet, then by the end of their 9k-ish revs is sky high, say 6-800 lb-ft, so they really aren't good for quarter mile times. The half that are set up right, the full-on race kind, are only in japan, and they run boost that would make your lungs explode. The other thing is, the Skyline is going to have a weaker 0-60 because it is a rather fat car. Also, it is much more a track car than a strip car. The koenigsegg also runs a v8 rather than an i6, lacking turbo lag because it has a supercharger.

  8. still can't beat clk gtr

  9. I have to agree with you, CanadasPorscheMan. While I'm sure it just shaves the 10 second line, I'm sure this car could do it.
