  1. Sue them and get more publicity! <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/grin.gif"></A>

  2. I've spent my whole life trying to avoid litigation. The only people that win are the attorneys.

  3. Wow, and spot-on perfect panel fit too.

  5. The text of that article was written by me. Don't you think that I should have been credited? Do you think it's fair to use the image of my car in the advertisment without my permission? You get paid for your contribution, don't you?

I've certainly changed my opinion of the magazine and its publisher after they failed to explain themselves.

Maybe I'll sue the advertiser. That might get his attention.

  6. Do it Barry, do it.

Super loud video when you click on it, holy shit.

  8. Just sold a 56 Mk II this past weekend for $55,000.

  9. That's pretty good money. The Mark II is way undervalued considering there were only 3,000 made. I think the problem is that 50%, or more, survive.

  10. So how did your first big gig go Duesey? I was considering going to the auction Sat. but wasn't able to... I wish I had gone in retrospect.

  11. I set a note to the advertiser and all of a sudden heard from the magazine. Amazing how that worked.

The magazine said that they got them from a site that I gave permission to post. Problem is, M & M kinda forgot to read their rules about images. Oops!

We'll see what they have to say now.

  12. Excellent! well done. Keep us posted on how this evolves. <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/grin.gif"></A>

  13. BTW Barry, just a question, did you owned a '49 Buick Roadmaster?

  14. No, but the guy I bought my Mark II from in Phili does.

    I have the:
    '56 Mark II convertible
    '55 Porsche Continental Cabrio
    '56 Chris Craft Continental
    '68 Lincoln Continental limousine
'70 Lincoln Continental Mark III convertible.
    '77 Lincoln Continental Town Car
    '51 Royal Spartanette "Toybox"
    '88 BMW 325iX
    '88 BMW 750iL
    '97 BMW Z3
    '98 ML-320

    That's all.

  15. Thanks Barry, you're not the same Barry I was thinking of. <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/smile.gif"></A>

  20. Hell yeah.

  21. I'll bet that's gonna be really nice when it's finished. What year is it?

  22. It's a '69. I'm going to start a thread on "Clara".
