2002 Viper GTS Vs 2002 360M Vs 2002 NSX Type-R Vs 2000 911 GT3

  1. Alright, 4 greats line up...who wins is up to you.

Based on looks, i'd choose the 360M no question. Gorgeous, a modern classic.

Performance, the Viper wins, with the highest top speed and best accelaration (0-60 in 4.3, compared with 4.4 for the NSX Type-R, 4.5 for the 360M and 4.7 for the GT3).

Handling, probably the NSX Type-R...as razor sharp as the day it was released, agile and perfect weight distribution, touch of oversteer...perfect. 360M and GT3 are both close second. Viper arguably is the worst. Too much power for the chassis, heaps of understeer.

Practicality, the GT3...most space for your luggage, plus will probably never break down. NSX runs it a close second for reliabilty.

Image, The Prancing Horse without a doubt. The Porsche second, Viper third and a distant last the Honda.

Price, the Honda hands down. 70 grand for a car that can outrun most other supercars is the best bargain this side of a TVR.

Overall i'd choose the 360M...coz i've always wanted a Ferrari and i'll never get bored of the way it looks. although if i were choosing with my head it'd be the NSX, one of the most complete supercars out there, and in Type-R form it answers all the critics questions about it being underpowered. Porsche takes third from the Viper in the fact that it beats it in almost all departments. I do like the Viper, it's gorgeous, fast and agressive...but it's less of a track car than the three others, being the most heavy and softly srung. also starting to look and feel its age on the inside.

That's just my opinion though, feel free to disagree...

Looks: I definately have to go with the Viper. IMO, the most beautiful car out there.

Performace: The Viper owns. 0-60 is actually 4.0, with a couple tests getting it into the 3.9's. Distantly followed by the Modena, GT3, and NSX.

Cornering: Viper again. The Viper is not as good of a handler as the others, according to some people, but corners the best. But all these cars on a corner and the Viper will finish the quickest.

    Practicality: GT3.

    Image: Ferrari, Porsche, Viper, NSX

Price: Honda hands down?! You must live in Japan. The Viper is by far the cheapest in this comparison. The Viper costs $70,000, NSX costs $88,000, and the 360 Modena and GT3 cost over $100,000.

Overall, I would pick the Viper. I love the looks, and for the fewest amount of money you get the best performer.

    No you didn't.

Someone old enough to drive doesn't say "Yo", "peeps", "I've droven", or "da".

    1.Ferrari
    2.Porsche
    3.Viper
    4.Acura

If u put a 911 Turbo instead of the GT3 though, i'd take the turbo over the ferrari. They usually compare the viper and 360M to the turbo, not the GT3. In nearly evrey catergory the Turbo just edge's out the 360M and viper. Although, the Vipers 1/4 mile is .1 seconds faster and the ferrari does the slalom about .5 mph faster than the porsche. But from 0-60 the porsche runs head to head w/ the viper. But still the Porsche Turbo is faster than the 360 in top speed and quarter mile and the turbo's slalom time is better than the GTS. So in the end, the porsche is just better than the other 3. Plus that Turbo's design is just beautiful.

Turbo's slalom time better than the GTS? Click the link.

The Viper out-performs the 911 Turbo and 360 Modena in every category except braking, which were the tests done on the pre-ABS Vipers. Viper's have had ABS for over 2 years now.

The Viper slaughters the Turbo in the slalom.

you mentioned that the honda was the best bargain this side of a tvr. in my opinion you should have inlcuded the tuscan r. its cheaper, better looking, faster although admittedly it is not terribly practical.
