Me personally I dont like the '04 S2k, its not the design of the car, well basically its the same besides the back lights have chandged, but the fact they brought down the revs. they've placed a 2.2 liter engin in which is cool and all but the fact that they brought the revs down to i dont know what, that really sucks. <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/emoticons.html"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="http://speed.supercars.net/cboardhtml/emoticons/sad.gif"></A>
Re: 2004 S2000...? 2.2L engin Actually, they only made the engine change for North America. IN Japan and Europe, they still use the same 2.0 engine. Besides the engine, all of the new S2ks got slight changes like retuned suspension, wider tires, bigger wheels, and facelift. It seems like only people in America want more torque. And people from other places seem to be satisfied with the old engine.
Re: 2004 S2000...? 2.2L engin Since it has a 2,200 cc , they should call it the S 2200 instead of the S 2000.
Re: 2004 S2000...? 2.2L engin Like I have been saying for a long time..."why does Japan always get the good cars?" <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/emoticons.html"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="http://speed.supercars.net/cboardhtml/emoticons/sad.gif"></A>
Re: 2004 S2000...? 2.2L engin They actually have a S2200, it tuned by Mugan, called...well...the S2200, really ugly, i think if you go to Honda-tech you might get some pics. ill try to find one and post it.
Re: 2004 S2000...? 2.2L engin Never mind its actually on this website.... http://www.supercars.net/cars/[email protected]$Honda%[email protected]$SS2200%20Conceptg.html
Re: 2004 S2000...? 2.2L engin I think that the '04 S2000 (US) looks better because of the back lights. with the three circles instead of the two....WOW!!!
Re: 2004 S2000...? 2.2L engin i agree ... the horsepower remains the same <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/emoticons.html"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="http://speed.supercars.net/cboardhtml/emoticons/sad.gif"></A> but the torque now is much better <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/emoticons.html"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="http://speed.supercars.net/cboardhtml/emoticons/smile.gif"></A>
Re: 2004 S2000...? 2.2L engin torque = <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/emoticons.html"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="http://speed.supercars.net/cboardhtml/emoticons/smile.gif"></A> ....but the revs = <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/emoticons.html"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="http://speed.supercars.net/cboardhtml/emoticons/sad.gif"></A><A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/emoticons.html"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="http://speed.supercars.net/cboardhtml/emoticons/sad.gif"></A><A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/emoticons.html"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="http://speed.supercars.net/cboardhtml/emoticons/sad.gif"></A>
Re: 2004 S2000...? 2.2L engin I've been a huge fan of the S2000 ever since it's come out, and seeing this new, evolved version of the 2000 S2000 I like it alot. With the new rims. The new spoilers that you can get. The new headlights (zenon) and the new taillights (LED). I like this S2000 alot more than the old one. <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/emoticons.html"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="http://speed.supercars.net/cboardhtml/emoticons/smile.gif"></A>
Re: 2004 S2000...? 2.2L engin I like the way it looks, but i dont like the engin for the car. The get-up is really nice, but the problem with the car is the engin, yeh it might have more power, but...not the 9K rev. <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/emoticons.html"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="http://speed.supercars.net/cboardhtml/emoticons/sad.gif"></A>
Re: 2004 S2000...? 2.2L engin May be you can import one from Japan or Europe. They are the same as the American one, but the engines are still the same ones.
Re: 2004 S2000...? 2.2L engin haha, and on top of that they will be RHD. <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/emoticons.html"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="http://speed.supercars.net/cboardhtml/emoticons/smile.gif"></A><A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/emoticons.html"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="http://speed.supercars.net/cboardhtml/emoticons/smile.gif"></A><A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/emoticons.html"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="http://speed.supercars.net/cboardhtml/emoticons/smile.gif"></A>
Re: 2004 S2000...? 2.2L engin I def wouldn't mind that......once I got accustomed to shifting with my left hand.
Re: They could keep the 9000 RPM redline though. Why don't they just tune it a little further so it'll still have the same redline, but with more torque? That would sound so great to me!
Re: Re: It's more driveable this way, I personally don't like it, but they have to cater to a market that can't drive well.
Re: 2004 S2000...? 2.2L engin not exactly its the same thing as right turns in LHD cars in america think about it
