  6. wow...not bad at all!!

  7. i dig it. its like a more practicle pacifica/r-class

  8. #$%# CROSSOVERS!

  9. No, basically a full sized SUV lowered becomes a street cruiser, and the ford is that.

It can't go offroading therefore it is a city car, being boxy, overweight, and underpowerd makes it similar to a Scion Xb

Legacy wagons are actually considered SUV's more than a wagon because of their offroad abilities but thats besides the point. The fact that this "crossover" has the look of a Legacy but in boxy form which would make it comparable vehical.

Its definatly not a crossover; more of less just a lowered SUV, or boxy wagon.

  11. Car makers are scared of the station wagon and minivan names because of the image associated with them. That's why we are seeing so many car-based utilty vehicles that are somewhere in between car and the decreasinglyl popular SUV. True SUVs are truck-based and are scaring many buyers with their "environmentally offensive" characteristics so these crossover/CUV vehicles are all the rage right now. Personally, I like the Flex. I think of it as a big station wagon for this century. The Freestyle/Taurus X is similar but lacks the unique good looks of this vehicle. if anybody has some pics of the new Mini Clubman, you'll see more than a passing similarity, albeit in XXL proportions. We all complained when Ford had eleventy SUVs in their lineup as that market dwindled. We blamed them for lack of new vehicle development. And these are the results. We might not love everything they are building, but this and the Edge are what the market needs and wants. Perhaps Ford's lineup is a bit too crowded with these types of vehicles right now, but they make sense. I'd like to see it winnowed down to these two and maybe an Explorer and/or Expedition lineup. They could do without the Escape and Taurus X as well.

  12. More like another boxy station wagon, which is not of my taste, but is definitely a family vehicle. <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/wink.gif"></A>

I hardly understand what you were trying to say, but that's ok. Just try not to bundle up ideas and words together so much and try to make more sense in what you say. <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/wink.gif"></A>

I COULD use smaller words and less challenging sentences, but as a teacher I always believed in teaching to the top of the class.
