The Edition is the ultimate supercar - A Koenigsegg at its most extreme. Production will be strictly limited. Just 14 CCX Edition models and 6 CCX-R Editions. This is the only right hand drive example expected. With the CCX Edition capable of outputing 1018BHP no other supercar can match the Edition in terms of power-to-weight ratio, aerodynamic balance, downforce and chassis stiffness. Specification includes: Forged, machined and polished aluminium, Edition alloy wheels, 4.8 Litre twin-supercharged Koenigsegg engine enabling the engine to deliver a staggering 1018BHP, specially anodized aluminium trim.

  2. The ultimate track focused hypercar
  3. Awesome, but over-priced and not the ultimate by a long shot.
  4. die already

    also: gayest wing ever
  5. track focused?

  10. hypercar, maybe.

car? not even close. ultimas/radicals/atoms/caterhams all shit all over it for a fraction of the cost.
  11. The Caterham couldn't even match the CCX on the TopGear track
  12. Yeah... because the first time round the CCX didn't even reach the finish line.

PS The CCX time was absolutely OBLITERATED by the Ultima GTR. 4,8s>0,3s
  13. = Dauer 962 Le Mans Porsche
  14. the radical broke 7 minutes on the Nring though.
  15. $2.2m, god no.
  16. i wouldn't want it over a Murcielago LP.
  17. Still the most silliest rear wing ever.
  18. That wing is god awful, and that price is ridiculous now. Koenigsegg's used to be like 500,000 before, and theyre fundamentally the same. I know Raging ballsack will argue different but its still the same #$%#ing car.

its almost understandable [ALMOST] when companies like ferrari or lamborghini make a special edition car and sell it for stupid money because they have a name and will almost certainly never depreciate in value. These "3rd party" supercars on the other hand will almost certainly not be worth anything close to what they sell for. Koenigsegg will die, and it will just be another make everybody will forget, except innotech of course.
  19. The sold a second-hand one for 172000, so it ain't pricetechnically a stable car (with or without wing)
  20. I dunno, they've been around for quite a while.
    Like Pagani.
  21. $2.2m is a good price tag for an automotive perfection like this. If anything it should cost even more considering a boring glorified beetle (aka Veyron) is priced at over $2m and is nowhere near the performance level of CCXR, nor as exclusive.
  23. ban request
  24. Pagani is a special case. their drivetrain is made by a well established team whose sole purpose is to make supercar engines, and they wont be going anywhere any time soon.

And Pagani himself played a part in designing some of the most successful and iconic supercars of the 80 and 90s.

But despite this, and despite how succesful they may be now, i odnt know how much longer theyll be around. We shall see.
  25. Agreed, agreed and agreed.
