1. To quote The Onion, "It's so cute that GM still thinks it'll be around in 2009."

Seriously though, a really nice looking car.

  2. it'll still be around 2009

  3. This needs a V12, otherwise it can't possibly compete with the Viper

  4. I don't think it's made to compete with the Viper.I'd say more in the lines of the Mustang GT,Dodge Charger srt-8,Challenger,base line Vette and Pontiac GTO.I could be wrong though.

  5. its ok looking, i prefer the mustang GT and Challenger. "This needs a V12, otherwise it can't possibly compete with the Viper" actually i think that would make the car worse. i doubt it has a frame sturdy enough to handle the torque generated by an engine like the viper's. it would just flop around everywhere and be a complete disaster on the track. The way the new corvette is depreciating you can buy a 1 year old one for the same price this car will sell for. kinda pointless to buy this car in my opinion. it wont be a as high a seller as gm hopes. only camaro fan-boys will buy it because other than that there is no reason to purchase this car.

  6. Agreed, but still, if i had the disposible income, i would but one just for fun.

  7. yeah to pick up those italian milfs, that it will do a great job at. the ones that used to own iroc z28s <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/tongue.gif"></A>

  8. not the convertible though for me, and I would still prefer the Challenger.

  9. maybe its meant to compete with the 'stang and charger

  10. That's a distinct possibility
