    the 302 is a lot faster. it is tuned considerably. i read an article about it in motor trend.

    The 302 revs up much better. The 350 porduces more torque.

    The 302 pulls out 435 hp but probbably not the much torque. The 350 LS6 in the 2002 ZL1 camaro pulls 410 pound feet or torque, so the 350 is probably better with low end powe rwhile the 302 is better with high reving power.<!-- Signature -->

    Oh yeah thats 435 rwhp at the fly wheel its a whopping 485 hp. Lets see there 2003 cobra do that.<!-- Signature -->

    This engine is from a 350 block, all they did was change the stroke of the motor. By quicking the stroke, you can make the car faster and rev higher.

    first of all, the 2003 cobra is running off a 4.6, second of all chevy needs shorter driveshafts on the camaro

    The 302 Was A Good Engine, But Id Have To Agree That The 350 Is Much Better. They Have Been Making The 350, And Its Variants For So Long That Really, Only One Engine Compares To It, The 427....Which Was Built Off The 350!

    hello?! any major gearhead knows that the 302 is a 327 with a 283 crank! not to mention the 302 is a LEGENDARY MOTOR! it was used in the 69 camaros in the Trans Am series racing. so pretty much id rather have a 302 than a 350.

    302 has the RPMs to pull out major HP, and can be built sky high. I choose the new 302.

    the 350 has more potential
    the 302 could wind higher, but the 350 torque will win out in high po use

    302 was better for what it was used for (trans am racing in 69)
    completely dominated even though it was rated as having the same HP as the mustangs it was still mysteriously faster
    certainly not because they hugely underrated the motor...
     
  18. first the LS1 and LS6 are not 350s they are 346s they have a completely different bore and stoke. They both have the same potential. Its just how much money do you want to put into it. The 2002 camaro ZL1 you could get a 427 LS6. For mustang boy the cobra makes what about 390 with a supercharger. The only way ford know how to make power is to dump a shit load of fuel into it and force air into it. were GM can make shit loads of power and still got good gas mileage. Look at the new vette it the only can with a V8 that makes 400HP that doesnt have a gas guzzler tax on it.
