360 GT vs 360 Challenge

  1. Off course, one is faster and more powerful. But the Challenge is a cheapest way for costumer to get into race tracks.

    The 360 GT is for profesional drivers.

    The 360 Challenge remind me the "Gentlemen Drivers" times.

    The 360 challange costs about $200,000 less than the GT, and is also more accessible, since 300 were produced, vs. only 30 factory 360 GTs.

    if i were to race a 360 i owuld try my best to get a 360 GT . From what i read its awesome to drive ,very fast and not so expensive . The 360 Challenge although cheaper still cost a lot to maintain as you have to service it every 2 tracks event ..

    But for 400/500 000 $ i would get a F40 GTE <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/emoticons.html"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="http://speed.supercars.net/cboardhtml/emoticons/smile.gif"></A>

    Road and Track did a comparison between a 360 Modena, the 360 Challenge, and the 360 GT, it is worth checking out at their website. I dont think that acceleration testing was done, so the 0-60 times are estimated. They all were raced around a track and the 360 GTs times were significantly lower than the 360 challenge's times.

    Wow what a nice looking Ferrari. Does anyone know why it is equiped with Pirelli's instead of Bridgestones? Does anyone have any performance specs on this car or price specs and availability? any extra info would be appreciated

    pirellis are the best European tires there are!
    why would you want bridgestones?
    especially wit the firestone fiasco (remember same tires)

    I'd go with the Challenge, in my opinion they both look great, but the 360 Challenge is faster, i think so at least

    The 360 GT is much faster. Especially without restrictors.

    I would like to see Mercedes-Benz Come back to the Le Mans 24 hour with the CLK-DTM.

    You would want bridgestones because the F1 team uses bridgestones and bridgestones have a seperate division that does R&D for the Ferrari F1 team, so you would think that the partnership would extend to the 360GT car, but it doesn't for some reason.

    Holy SHEEIT! Are you serious?! Sure the Challenge is a wonderful Ferrari, but the GT is a complete RACING CAR. The Challenge features the stock 360 engine, but has racing wheels/tires, a role cage, fire extinguisher, etc. The GT, however, has absolutely no simularities to the street legal 360 Modena. It is a pure racing machine. A word from the wise; if you want to choose between the two, go with the GT.

    Actually, only one FACTORY 360GT has been constructed. It is currently owned and campaigned by Ferrari of Washington (the famous #33). The other 360GT's were all built by private entrants.

    Actually the 360 GT is still very similar to the modena. The suspension is virtually the same except for stiffer springs and roll bar and the engine just is modified to get a little more power.

    I would take the GT for sure, better top speed and less weight.

    Mercedes wouldn't enter the CLK-DTM in Le Mans as there are different rules, but they did enter the CLK-GTR, which was also produced as a road going version for around £1,500,000

    I think that the 360GT definitely looks the part, and I would think that it goes pretty well too. The challenge is a spec series car so it is designed to last a long time.

    This is the finest looking car I have ever seen. Honestly I get turned on everytime i see its picture. Don't compair the challange vs the GT. The GT is the sweetest thing sence shugar, the challange is just sweet and low.
