777 HP only 208 MPH?

  1. I'm not sure about that. Wouldn't it go a lot faster with 770+ HP?

  2. Re: 777 HP only 208 MPH?

that is still very fast....how fast do you expect it to go 300+?

  3. Re: 777 HP only 208 MPH?

its the matter of the gearbox. lower the final drive ratio and the last gear and it will go faster <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/emoticons.html"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="http://speed.supercars.net/cboardhtml/emoticons/wink.gif"></A>

  4. Re: 777 HP only 208 MPH?

This car should be able to go a lot faster than 208 mph! At least 245mph!

  5. Re: 777 HP only 208 MPH?

No, it shouldn't. Like others said, it has to do with the final drive ratio. IT also has to do with drag. C&D had featured this car vs the Lingenfelter 650TT. They got 208mph with this and 226mph for the 650hp Corvette.

now thats a car i want to own

  7. Re: 777 HP only 208 MPH?

well, just look at how heavy it is...

  8. Probably the reason this car has 777 horses and only maxes at around 208 is because of the weight of the v10...if it was all alluminum...big difference...but weight puts off alot of m.p.h.

  9. dude the fastest car overall is the bugatti 16.4 Veyron...how the hell do u want a Dodge TNT Viper to go 245 AT LEAST!!! try at most?

  10. its called aerodynamics and gearing you tools.

  11. hahaha

  12. weight has NO effect on top speed, except to change the rolling resistance slightly, but that isn't even worth mentioning. it has to do with drag, peak engine power and gear ratios.

  13. 7-7-7. Lucky sevens at a casino with this reward!

  14. ya, youre right.
