  1. this cars a waste of space and it looks like shit and i think they wasted a lotta money on some crap on wheels.

what would you pick? porch twin turbo or this??

  2. Re: a porche tt would leave this crapoutta site

    the porch

  3. Re: a porche tt would leave this crapoutta site

I'll stay away from prices because I firmly believe that in automobiles you get what you pay for. The Porsche is a better performance car but this is really not meant for that. Its a grand tourer not a racer. Rich people will go to work in this.

This car can't be compared to a hi-po twin turbo engined car, it's in a completely different league. Porsche can build decent atmo engines, just look at 911 Carrera...'nuff said. Haven't seen Porsche dabble much in V8's though...would like to see this car (or tuned version of this car) against M3 GTR Strassenversion, or even straight-out GTR...that would make for a true Ferrari/Maserati vs. BMW showdown.<!-- Signature -->

Why are you making such a horrible comparison? The two cars have different engine blocks, different engine placement. It would be better to compare a Porshe to parhaps a 360, or another small car. The Maserati is geared to compete against cars such as the Jaguar XK8, or as a more economical alternative top the Ferrari Maranello.<!-- Signature -->

Why is this guy choosing a house extension over a Maserati Coupe?

You dickhead, learn to spell 'Porsche' properly.

    P-O-R-S-C-H-E

Oh, and I probably wouldn't mind taking the 911 Turbo over this car. Then again, I'd have to spend at least A$60,000 more on the 911 Turbo than the Maserati, wouldn't I.

    Hmmm, hard decision isn't it.<!-- Signature -->

this car reminds me in the front to much of the jag, check the hood has the same curves as the xk, and abit of the etype. i would rather buy the jag than this thing much better looking. good engine though

  9. Re: a porche tt would leave this crapoutta site

wot a bloody dickhead! how easy is it to get a lot of power from a forced induction engine?!

lets see if porsche can make good natuarlly aspirated engines yeah?<!-- Signature -->

  10. Re: a porche tt would leave this crapoutta site

a porschce would dominate this thing. this is a waste of space, and a waste of money. maserati screwed up this time.<!-- Signature -->

  11. Re: a porche tt would leave this crapoutta site

like "StevieRage" said, i dont think this car was built to contend with a porsche 911 turbo.
It does look very similar to a jag though, maybe they got some of their ideas from jaguar.<!-- Signature -->

    Porsche can't make good NA engines? What about the Carrera GT's engine (V10, 5.5L, 558hp @ 8200 RPM, 600 Nm)?! I think it's a rather good engine.

This comparison isn't fair, 'cause Maserati is a GT and Porsche a "racer", but ironically, the Porsche seems to be more comfortable, well-built, practical and reliable; it's also faster and handles better. But this Maserati has a very good engine indeed, in my opinion better than the one in 360 Modena. It's smooth, powerfull, torquey...

This car is meant to compete with Jaguar XKR and other GT's or even with Porsche 911 Carrera.

This car ia a coupe with 4 normal seats. So how can compare it with any Porsche. Still, thought, it has better performance and better price than a 911 Carrera or 911 Carrera 4.

  15. Re: a porche tt would leave this crapoutta site

What does tt stand for? Twin Turbo. This Maserati is not turbo'ed. Put two turbos in this and most likely it was blow the porsche tt away.

I'm going to pretend you didn't say anything..... porch??? thats embarrasing. Please do NOT talk.

Sorry for all the porsche fan but in a recent test of the GERMAN!! AUTO MOTOR UND SPORT the Maserati cambiocorsa is the winner.
They even gat the 25hp tuning version of the 911 becouse they where afrait that the more powerfull Masa was to much for the normal 911.

"The comparison has had the anticipated result and the injection of power results insufficient to win over the facts: The "Coupe Cambiocorsa" has been held best as it regards the fundamental characteristics: a more complete auto as a whole. The "911" take his revenge at points (and therefore officially winning the challenge) only because it pollutes and it consumes less and, in general it has lower costs of management.

Now for the Jaguar fans from England

The last number of the ENGLISH magazine "Auto Express" it publishes a test comparison among the new "Spyder" and the "XKR. Well, the verdict is favorable to the Maserati, defined a great deal more "exciting to drive", exciting to drive, in comparison to the competing English.

Particularly, for the temperament of the Maserati motor and the strong character. the Jaguar is a good car, however, not to the height of the "Spyder."

So Maserati is a better car, more confortable, more easy to handle, more sportive, better performing and have four seets for two nice ladies in the back!! I am very sorry for porsche and jaguar but MASERATI rules

    P.S.
    Ans looks much better!!
