The "Arafat walked away from a great deal" line is repeated ad nausium in the US/Israel and clearly isn't true, unless you think any Palestinian government/authority could ever agree to or abide by the kind of terms Israel laid out... the only real counter-argument is that Arafat should have offered a counter-offer (i.e. Israel's offer was just a starting position), but I guess that's a lesson in poor negotiating for you...

  3. Honestly don't waste your time arguing with a guy like Mpg, he's one of the most ignorant members on this site especially when it comes to topics like this. He'll only view one side and never acknowledge anything that Israel has done wrong.

  4. People in the US are so horribly mislead on this issue. The only person of note who seems to have a clue is Jimmy Carter.

  5. Try honesty and politeness. You might like them.

  6. You are mislead on this issue, ignorant hobbit. Since 1967, Palestinian supported a politic of terror and the result was they pwned themselves at their own games. They even reelected a terrorist party the hamas that is fighting against the fatah for the absolute control of political institution in Palestinian territories. One must be totally stupid and out of his mind if he thinks that over the long run negotiations with Abbas will give something especially when Hamas is at power.

  7. You are far to be knowledgeable on that subject. Israel is the only true democracy in the middle east certainly not the case of Palestine.

  8. I suppose it's France's history of meekly giving up and conspireing in the face of foreign occupation that makes you deserveing of nationhood and not they?

Also I should hope all those terrorists in the Free French and the Resistance were roudned up and duely shot.

  9. What has it #$%#ing to do with the subject, you dumb cretin? Hitler invaded France and some French people decided to resist. You seem to compare Jews with Nazis because according to your hobbit logic Jews are foreign occupation. Way to be so full of shit and ignorance. You can't compare WW2 with what happen in the Middle East unless you are a retarded so full shit hobbit.I should hope that people like you were shot in the face and hung on the public place.
And you tardo,do you desserve your nationality? You desserve to be put in a hobbit special camp.

  10. Supporters of the zionist project can surely rest safe in the knowledge they have intelectual heavyweights such as yourself batting for them <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/wink.gif"></A>

  11. What a suprise, MPG is crying about politeness.

  12. yeesh, who's foolhardy enough to side w/ stew?

  13. Just for once try to imagine what it's like to grow up, born as a Palestine/Iranian/whatever. For gods sake just do it.

  14. I have seen what the Kohmeini and Kahmenei regimes gave in Iran and what 30 years of Arafat in Palestine have given, only mediocre shit.People who approved and who are still approving leaders (who are themselves terrorists/full of shit dictators) are worthless and have only hatred for other people. If you don't understand this, your sense of realism is unexisting.

  15. only idiots

  16. It's not that simple. The power in these territories is not effectively gained through elections, rather through corruption and intimidation. As for Palestinians, the "medioce shit" they got was not only due to their own leaders, but mostly caused by the Israeli/US arrogance. Their terrorism is only terrorism from your point of view. Growing up like a Palestine you'd probably think it's a fight for justice and freedom with whatever means you have. I'm not saying it's correct, but I can see why they do it.

  17. well they'd never get any of the original israel territory, so what does that hae to do w/ their arrogance?

  18. It's about how the Palestinian people are treated by their neighbours.

  19. Not all Palestinans, infact it's far from a majority that support the terror agianst Istrael.

Please don't argue with me on this because as you may remember, I've lived in the West bank and on the Gaza strip for almost 18 months, So I know more that anyone in these forums what the average Palestinian think.

The reason to why the elected Hamas is because Hamas have helped the Palestinians while Fatah took all money for themself, Many Palestinians survived thanx to Hamas and the food and money they gave to help the Palestinians.

The palestinians wanted a stop to the corruption and therefore they voted for Hamas.

  20. gee, talk about voting for shit vs. shit <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/tongue.gif"></A>

  21. True, But to the Palestinians Hamas looks better.

  22. well apparently. unless they all love hate/cut and voted on that basis <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/tongue.gif"></A>

  23. Yeah.

  24. Lately they've been saying that they want to hang on to a good part of it.

  25. Good lord. I didn't disagree with much at all that you posted in this thread until that. Anybody who thinks Jimmy Carter has any kind of clue at all with foreign policy is lost.
