  1. ok so don't start posting replies and swearing at me ,but MB are going to put a 5.5 litre twin turbo in the maybach,n i read that they MIGHT use it in the s-class and dump the S55.

MB is using the 5.5 litre V-12 twin turbo in the upcoming facelifted S-class,it will get a detuned engine from the Maybach having 476bhp instead of 550.The S55AMG will continue but the real flagship will be the twin turbo 476bhp s600 V-12.<!-- Signature -->

The new S600 will have a twin turbocharged V12 , with an output of 500Hp, 800nm of torque...And there will be also the new S55 AMG, with the detuned V8 available in the SL55: 500Hp and 700nm of torque..

BMW has no answer for the new top of the line (S600), the best they could come up with is the new 445hp 760IL wich is some 55hp short. So dream on, MB still rules the luxus race.

  10. Re: an even faster one might be coming

the 760 is not 445 Hpp!! it's 408HP!!! there are almost 100Hp of difference!!
    there are also versions of S600 with 4-matic <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/emoticons.html"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="http://speed.supercars.net/cboardhtml/emoticons/smile.gif"></A><A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/emoticons.html"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="http://speed.supercars.net/cboardhtml/emoticons/smile.gif"></A><A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/emoticons.html"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="http://speed.supercars.net/cboardhtml/emoticons/smile.gif"></A>
