Apparently, eleven were crashed in one race alone...

  1. ...and only thirty were built.

    Jaguar Sport and Tom Walkinshaw Racing campaigned the various XJR sports car racers with great success in the Eighties.

    At one point the XJR15 was to be a road car, but then the XJ220 was announced, so it was reworked for racing.

    No I didn't, Sherlock.

    They were written off in a one make racing series. The drivers found the roadholding to be dreadful.

    20 were made.
    10 of them haven't been made.
    Jaguar is actually accepting orders for those 10 now, as they found the parts and are rebuilding them.
    of course with some hmmm... adjustments.
