I'd say so too. There's already one comfirmed dead New Zealander, with over 300 still unaccounted for.

um, Chairman, as always is full of sh!t. First of all "50 Britons dead" thats complete bull , only 6 aussies have been confirmed dead, and only around 50 are missing. there is thousands more aussies in those countries than Britons, if you saw the loads of people coming from the area into Brisbane Airport you'll understand.

last time i read up on the disaster it was 77,000. it will reach 100,000 but they haven't counted it yet.

  17. Asia Aftermath - 100,000 Dead (Updated)

  18. Asia Aftermath - 100,000 Dead (Updated)

BBC is reporting 50 Britons dead. However, that's nothing compared with the 1,000+ Swedes, 800+ Norwegians, and several thousand Americns dead or missing. The tsunamis hit many resorts popular with foreign tourists.

I just saw that on TV. The head of the WHO said that there could be up to 50,000 deaths from disease as a result.

We are better and stronger swimmers than them. Your answer
It does not look good for the footy player from melb.

rember thousands of people are still under rubble so expect 80,000 90,000 deaths, but with all the confusion it could be higher. People will die is they drink any bad water. disease will kill thousands.

  22. Asia Aftermath - 100,000 Dead (Updated)

there is not 100k people reported dead yet, wtf?

  23. Asia Aftermath - 100,000 Dead (Updated)

Isn't that just an estimate for now? But I'm pretty sure the death toll would rise above that.
