How incredibly boring, it's just like every other design out of AM in the last 4 years.
Looks good so far.
this made me squeal with glee. its perfect
You say that like its a bad thing. This car is sex. Porsche needs to pay attention. Maserati finally have some competition for sleek 4 doors.
Porsche needs to pay attention? Business wise, Porsche >>>> AM + Maserati
awful. design something new.
WTF? In terms of design, Quattroporte and Rapide shit on Panamera. Who the hell is talking about business wise? I ma talking about 3 specific cars.
Untwist your panties and pay attention.
i love how everyone throws feces at the panamera, while it isn't even out yet <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/disappointed.gif"></A>
but from what we've seen of it; it deserve what its getting
I don't know what you have see,b nut I have only seen cammoed prototypes. And anyway it can't possibly be blander than yet another DB9.
It doesn't look as good as I would have hoped, but I will laugh every time someone buys a Panamera instead of this!
It doesnt look as good as the prototype but i cant put my finger on what is bothering me
Stunning-looking. I WANT ONE!
Audis look all the same. STFU.
audis are generic cars for glorified consultants .
A-S-T-O-N =/= P-O-R-S-C-H-E
Porsche should be ridiculed (and it is by me) 10x more than Aston
Porsche, was a small sports car company that deisgned cars that never should have worked. Now they produce some of the best cars in the world, and is now posting record sales and profits. Aston hasn't really made anything currently thats worth talking about. Yeah, they're pretty, but theyre bland for a sports car. The Carrera GT, the GT2, and GT3, all wonderful sports cars. Porsche should be given a standing ovation.
why the hate on Aston Martin? just because some of the newer ones look similar at a glance doesn't mean they're bland, they've all just been designed by the same person and they all have to have certain AM design features anyways. it's not like Porsche design is anything spectacular anyways, especially not when every new car is just a faster version of the old one but with slightly changed scoops and slightly different engine setups. yes, the Carrera GT is fast, but so what? it's not that pretty. sure, the Boxster has probably outsold any Aston Martin ever made, but so what? it's got ridiculous amounts of feminine hovering about it regardless of color or a little "S" on the back. there's not one Porsche any prettier than an Aston Martin, so don't bother arguing. engineering wise, Porsches are brilliant, but that's not the argument here. Jeremy Clarkson likes Aston Martins, why can't you?
The V8 Vantage is the only recent Aston I really like the proportions of. I do prefer one off designs, rather than this kind of repetition of the same.
I'm struggling to beliueve that people are accusing AM of making all their cars look alike, then citing Porsche as an example of a company with an expansive design stable. You all realise Porsche giving the 997 round lights made it look MORE like old 911's, yes? Hell, the roofline of the 911 was unchanged for over 30 years.
Aston Martin is one of the very, very, *very* few companies that have ever been able to make a profit with a range comprised solely of coupes. And given their continuing reliability problems it's goddamn miracle-working, frankly.
