Road and Track compared the M3, the C32 AMG and the S4. Out of all the transmitions, they chose this one. Technically it's a "Semi-Auto", having a full auto mode and a manual "Tip-Tronic" touch shift. At 70 milliseconds (0.07 seconds) per shift, it's alot quicker then the S4 and BMW M3.
