  1. Gentlemen,

After amassing vast wealth, i am implored to take a deep look at my life? Does my Swiss bank account, Gold Bullion, Billions in the Stock Markets, Villas and Chatoes and esquist cars bring inner peace and mind relaxation?

The answer is indeed no. No Gentlemen No. This is why i have decided to take a yoga retreat. Not just any yoga retreat but one lifestyle that goes back to the 19th century. Away from the live of capitilism and into a life of nature and harmony. You may have your input into this complex discussion.
  2. Looks like a good selection of beer there. Some nice label design and I've only had two of them.
  3. Frankly, to me, Goose Island is...

BCB = great if maybe a little overhyped
Sours/saisons = good if maybe a little overpriced
    Everything else = pretty mediocre

Obviously I haven't had their brewery only bottles and consider King Henry to be a BCB beer, though.
  4. *humblebrag*
Just had some King Henry today, still one of the finest beers I've ever had. Though Mother of All storms gives it a run for its money, as does BBA4d. All 3 of these are ambrosia. The latter are much easier to find though.
  5. My store is getting two cases of BCBS and one of BC Barleywine on Monday. I'm debating whether or not to tell anyone we got some.
  6. got these from a friend for my birthday
  7. I will say that the Bourbon County is a little over-hyped. Honestly, Great Divide Yeti or any of the Hoppin Frog barrel aged stouts are good enough when you're in the mood for a hearty alcoholy stout. The BC has a more full flavor and you get a near perfect blend, but I'm fine with Yeti most of the year.

Also, didn't want to have to dig through the thread to find it, but if you haven't tried Unita Hop Notch you're missing out on a damned fine IPA.
  8. even got a Heineken in there so I can't hear any complaints from wheelman

didn't get around to drinking too much of it , had the hennepin which was a nice afternoon beer.

what are the two you have had , assuming the Hennepin is one of them ...and going to assume you have had heineken but didn't even count that one ...
  9. Hop Notch is good. Wyld is better.
  10. going to my friend's restaurant tonight for 0.50 PBR

  11. Win in my book.
  12. Troubadour is great, I love their more special beers. The Troubadour Obscura is my favourite.

  13. Got some Cantillon in at work today. Excite!
  14. Nice. Which ones? I wonder if that means Arizona got some or is getting some again, too.
  15. Classic Gueuze and Kriek. Insofar as not all Cantillons are as exciting as other Cantillons, I never get the more exciting Cantillons.
  16. ISO kriek!
  17. NOBODY gets the more exciting Cantillons.
  18. If shipping beer becomes less of a PITA for me in the near future, I'll send you a bottle.
  19. That's why I was surprised and excited to see the Lou Pepes on the shelf here. Not the MOST exciting from them, but pretty damn cool. Only bummer is that my buddy who bought the LP Gueuze hasn't shared it with me and I think he sent it to his new house in Kentucky. Really wanted to try that one. I personally wasn't blown away by the LP Kriek, but it was very good.
  20. LP Gueuze isn't as good as Classic.
  21. Really? That surprises me. The one Gueze I REALLY want to try is 3F Lente. I thought Armand & Tommy was amazing and I hear Lente is even better. I need to try to trade for it...
  22. Stopped into a bottle shop to get some extras for a trade and came home with this instead... Only five of the 12oz beers are for the trade, the rest for me. Whoops. The two magnums are the main part of the trade.

Happy to have Sucks back in my life. Drinking it right now and still loving it. Definitely one of my very favorite IPAs.
