Welcome to the 5th instalment in our ongoing discussion of all things beer! To start off: I had Mikkeller Beer Geek Brunch Weasel on tap last night. It was fantastic. Those civet cats sure know how to shit a bean. But seriously, it had none of the residual bitterness that coffee usually has, just big, chocolatey stout and a wonderful, untainted flavor of coffee. It was very much how I remembered my overall impression of Kopi Luwak BA Speedway.
Gentlemen, It seems that some foolish creature has banned me, in pursuit of his own agenda. Perhaps this mod is looking for the commedy that shall surely ensue due to my banning. I must say i shall oblige. Make no mistake this banning shall not cause me distress but rather amusement as now i shall once again post with freedom that im entitled to. I may have fallen once upon a time but today i see myself rising to untold glory. I have a vision and i shall make sure reality and vision become one. I am an ocean and you are not even a drop in it.
Haha, yeah it is. I think Beer Geek is the base beer name, then Brunch is the name of it brewed with Coffee and the Weasel is because a civet cat is kinda like a weasel, I uh, guess?

I'd say those are more of a third tier than a second tier really. Kronenbourg's better than Stlla though. and to be honest, I'd put Peroni in that same group
Peroni, Heineken, and Steamwhistle are my three favourite beers. Agreed, Moretti would be low on the list.
Man I'm sick of BA and their anal-ness. Sometime my threads just get deleted for no reason at all, healthy threads with tons of comments. Today I posed a query of whether or not freezing IPAs would be an effective way of preserving the hop profile and the thread was deleted.
freezing beer is a bad idea. if beer freezes, most people i know consider it undrinkable, citing reasons ranging from "it tastes flat" to "it gives you the shits" i've never experimented, so no firsthand info
no, those suck. whatever hipster beers you like, probably made with green tea and served with a slice of melon, they suck too
i bought 4 bottles (750ml) of St. Bernardus Abt 12 Also, at my work we only have Peroni or Moretti lol (SOMETIMES Heineken and sooooometimes Steamwhistle) I prefer Stella and Steamwhistle. Even Kronenburg. Then Peroni. Then Moretti.
I've moved most of my stuff on to talkbeer.com now. I still check out BA a bit, and I use it for ratings, along with RB, of course. But TB is the way better hangout these days, IMO.
I've had beer freeze on me plenty of times and have never had it go flat or give me the shits It might explode but that's a different matter.
same never gave me the shits ... or more shits than beer already does ... but its always gone flat on me by the time it thawed out ...
had some of my Lagunitas IPA on the weekend , it was nice thought it was going to be more in your face hoppy but was really smooth almost subdued ...
