I dont think GM even cares about them, they just care about the money

  2. Re: Bmw just created an S2000 of there own

The only visual similarities between the Z4 and the S2000 are the basic shape(classic roadster figure) and the rear light(a bit similar). I would take the Z4 3.0 anyday over the S2000.

  3. Re: Bmw just created an S2000 of there own

True. I have never seen a Fiat in real life.

  4. Re: Bmw just created an S2000 of there own

I've seen a couple of them, the engine sound is horrible

  5. Re: Bmw just created an S2000 of there own

Thats probably because it was in the process of breaking down.

  6. Re: Bmw just created an S2000 of there own

No, they we're brand new if not they had like a couple of miles on them but not much

  7. Re: Bmw just created an S2000 of there own

The probably start breaking down while they are being shipped from the factory. Maybe they taught this technique to TVR.

  8. Re: Bmw just created an S2000 of there own

Probably but either way they're pretty nice cars

  9. Re: Bmw just created an S2000 of there own

    TVR or Fiat?

  10. Re: Bmw just created an S2000 of there own

Well both of them but Espicially TVR

  11. Re: Bmw just created an S2000 of there own

I like their styling. I don't know about their speed though. Another car I have never seen in real life.

  12. Re: Bmw just created an S2000 of there own

I've seen the 12 Speed, looks really sweet in person

  13. Re: Bmw just created an S2000 of there own

    Where did you see it??

  14. Re: Bmw just created an S2000 of there own

Here in Montreal, I dont know where they brought it from but it was at this car show

  15. Re: Bmw just created an S2000 of there own

  16. Re: Bmw just created an S2000 of there own

  17. Re: Bmw just created an S2000 of there own

Yeah, but this baby is more affordable.

  18. Re: Bmw just created an S2000 of there own

what the hell does ps stand for? isnt it the same as bhp?

  19. Re: Bmw just created an S2000 of there own

ps is used in Japan, it's just a unit to measure teh pwoer of a car. I think there are 3 types of units, ps (japan), bhp (North america), and DIN (Germany), they are different becuz each country has different testing environment so as tempature, pressure.....

  21. Re: Bmw just created an S2000 of there own

    i agree. japan engines rules!

  22. Re: Bmw just created an S2000 of there own

a better question is how is it not better?

  23. Re: Bmw just created an S2000 of there own

I have some specs from the german magazine Sport Auto.

    Nurburgring times: S2000> 8.39sec
    Z4> 8.32sec
    Small Hockenheim: S2000> 1.18.9sec
    Z4> 1.18.1sec

    Slalom S2000> 118km/h
    Z4> 131km/h
    0-100 S2000> 6.2sec
    Z4> 6.0sec
    0-200 S2000> 24.5sec
    Z4> 27.5sec
    Brakes 200-0 S2000> 5.4sec
    Z4> 5.0sec

I'm not lying, this are the real times, so why do you all say the S2000 is faster than the Z4? its a bit better in accel but thats about it, The Z4 is the better car around the track.
Note that this are standard cars, not tuned. I know that the Z4 was on michelin pilot sport tyres, I could not see what kind of tyres the S2000 had. this are just specs but wth I like both cars very much!

Yea well, maybe the S2000 is the overall better car, but I did not say that the Z4 was the best. The Specs i posted where from a magazine that only want facts, so they test everything like downforce and how much G's the cars get in the corners or what times they drive on the track etc... and the Z4 was the better sportcar for the track if u look at the times and many other things. Maybe the S2000 is faster on other tracks, I don't know, but on the ring the Z4 was faster, the 228hp boxter was also faster it did it in 8.36sec. The ring is a track with long straights maybe the S2000 lost it there...
