  1. Bugatti Veyron Jean-Pierre Wimille Legends Edition Celebrates 1937 Le Mans Victory

A few weeks ago, Bugatti announced that it would be kicking off a series of special edition Veyron models that celebrate some of racing’s greats.

The first of those Veyron Legends is the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse Legends Jean-Pierre Wimille, which made its official public debut at the 2013 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. Limited to just three units, the supercar has a two-tone exterior that draws its inspiration from the Bugatti Type 57G Tank which Wimille piloted to a Le Mans 24 Hours victory in 1937.

Accenting the special edition vehicle, which is Bugatti’s 16th for the Veyron, are Le Mans-inspired graphics and laser-etched logos of Jean-Pierre Wimille’s autograph. Inside, the two-tone interior features Blue Wimille and Lake Blue leather upholstery contrasted by light blue stitching. The headrests are also embroidered while blue carbon fiber trim and special “Les Legendes de Bugatti” celebrates the special edition lineup.

Under the hood, performance remains the same with 1,200 horsepower from its quad-turbocharged, 8.0-liter W16 engine. Backed by 1,106 lb-ft of torque, the Veyron is a true supercar blasting to 62 mph in just 2.6 seconds.

  2. the wheels are terrible
  3. Im kinda hating this.

Are veyrons even gonna be collectable now?

Which one is actually appreciating in value at this poibt??

    SS? Sang Noir?

The five Record edtion SS models may be of some worth. Doubt any have appreciated though.
  5. Whoa whoa whoa. A -special edition- Veyron?
  6. If I were to own a Veyron, I'd take the turbos off.
    1-off special hellz eyah
  7. Hmm I like them. I like that Veyron too wich is odd since I don't like that car at all.
  8. This is probably my favorite Veyron but it has the same wheels. They look too small.
  9. Agree on the wheels.

Something about that car (same goes for something like a brooklands) doesn't look good in smaller spoked / racey wheels. They need more 'solid', substantial looking rims.

My fav Veyron so far I think is the blue carbon super sport that debuted @ Monterey in 2010.
  10. I suppose there is scope for customisation when ordering a new one, but I think they should all be unique.

  12. Yeah. Plus if I had the cash to buy one, I would definitely pay the little extra to make it exactly to my desires, however that may be.
  13. i'm a sucker for that tinted carbon fiber. interesting how different the bugatti weave looks from pagani's
  14. my favorite one too. i like the ss engine cover more. i also like the one that was done in bare carbon/aluminum and (weirdly) i liked the one that looked like it was porcelain
  15. Id have mine as a Douglas Adams -edition.

Deep space black outside, with every detail and whole interior in as matte black as possible. I mean every surface, for maximum darkness inside when closed.

  16. is this the car with the most special editions, or is it the Mustang?
  17. Re wheels - I'd go retro, like Jag 220 dishes. I might even powdercoat them in that French Blue, even though black or painted wheels are generally a crime against taste.
  19. 911 GT2 RS GT3 RS GTS RS 4S GT

    Those spoilers are just perfect
  20. cannot wait for next one-off Veyron: "pane e mortadella edition"
  21. edizione*
