O.K. Once again, this is way off the subject. Are they gonna produce the Sixteen? Somebody tell me!!!!!!!!!!!

2. Re: Bugatti vs...wait, where's the competition? oh that's right,

I'm really not sure. I, personally, have not followed the car too closely but would be lead to believe that yes, it'll probably see production eventually, albeit it might take a couple years.

3. Re: Bugatti vs...wait, where's the competition? oh that's right,

Exactly weight makes the car less agile, therefore it handles poorly no?
I don't know what you consider good handling but in my book a car has to be agile not overwieght and sluggish in order to be a good handler.
If a car has to break too early and enter the turn slower than it's lighter opponent that makes it a bad handler.

4. Re: Bugatti vs...wait, where's the competition? oh that's right,

Less agile? Yes. Handle Poorly? Hardly. Agility is only one part, as grip plays another huge factor. A smaller, more agile car will certainly be more fun to drive, but that also doesn't take away from the high speed stability this car will have due to the weight, and 1000hp is a huge handicap to overcome when racing against the Veyron (espescially when you think the acceleration zone basically begins mid-corner).

Overweight does not garuntee sluggish. If you stepped out of your every day Civic or whatever, you would most likely be blown away by the handling (unless, of course, you happen to drive a race car daily). It really all comes down to intent, really. Look at the really light cars like the Mosler MT900, Caterham R500 or even Dauer 962 LM. No luxury what so ever (the Caterham doesn't even have any doors, a roof or a windshield). This thing's meant to keep you comfortable while it keeps you pinned to the hand-stitched leather seats

i agree
buggatis are shit

6. Re: Bugatti vs...wait, where's the competition? oh that's right,

Well for 1 top fuelers have 6000hp and go 0-320mph in about 4.3 seconds...
Now the stats on this ive heard is 0-60mph in 2.9secs and top speed is 252.4...

7. Re: Bugatti vs...wait, where's the competition? oh that's right,

Volkswagens are great cars. Reliable, reasonable designs and easy to modify. stfu.

8. Re: Bugatti vs...wait, where's the competition? oh that's right,

R u russian?

9. Re: Bugatti vs...wait, where's the competition? oh that's right,

Whatever dude this car has much faster acceleration the most powerful engine in a production car and looks way sweeter.

10. Re: Bugatti vs...wait, where's the competition? oh that's right,

I understand... the car that fool showed sucked. But the Corvette Lingenfelter is faster than this car. And that Saleen S7 handles unlimitly better.

11. Re: Bugatti vs...wait, where's the competition? oh that's right,

A street legal car running 5.1 second quarter miles? Top Fuel dragsters do it only 0.1 to 0.5 seconds quicker. No steet legal tires can handle that.( My neigbor's 2000 Corvette killed it's tires in 1 pass through the 1/4 mile. It had something like 2000 horsepower at the rear wheels. He did it in only 7.4 seconds at 200.7 MPH.) Face it, steet legal cars can't do 5.1 second 1/4 miles. It wasn't tested in Philadelphia, you idiot! Nobody tests supercars in Philadelphia. If you do and word gets out, your supercar is OFFICALY A LOSER!!!!!!!!

Your an Iddddddddddddiiiiiiiiiiiooooooooooooottttttt, and have ooooonnnnnnnneeeeeeee working brain cell, which evedently, you should use...

13. Re: Bugatti vs...wait, where's the competition? oh that's right,

Its nice but holy crap is it overrated
everyone's talking like Buggati accomplished something huge by squeezing 1001 hp out of an engine with 16 cylinders. they need 4 turbos WTF the Caddilac Sixteen is naturally aspirated and makes more torque and one less horsepower than this thing

14. Re: Bugatti vs...wait, where's the competition? oh that's right,

You shuddup!

15. Re: Bugatti vs...wait, where's the competition? oh that's right,

You Jacktard...The information that you put down for the Bugatti Veyron is 100% WRONG. Do you read your magazines? The Veyron does NOT have 1000 bhp, it has 986 (according to Autoweek, Road&Track, and Automobile magazines, and the Bugatti Engineers I meet at Laguna Seca). I does NOT go from 0-60 in 1.8 seconds, try 3.2 seconds. It does NOT do the quarter mile in 5.1 seconds, try 10.4 seconds. How do I know this? I was in the pits at Laguna Seca raceway this past August. I was talking with the engineers from Bugatti, and they told me all about the car. The information I have provided you with was what the Bugatti engineers told me.(translated from German, to you) Get your facts straight. Dont put down stuff you dont know. I KNOW these things. I only put the information down when I am 100% positive its right. The only word I can think for you is stupid.

16. Re: Bugatti vs...wait, where's the competition? oh that's right,

I tend to agree with you.

Anyone who says the Veyron does the 1/4 mile in 5.1 seconds I officially deem them "Jacktard of the year".

17. Re: Bugatti vs...wait, where's the competition? oh that's right,

lol 5.1secs 1/4mile that would be a sight. ud probly have 2 wear a
G-Suit wen u pulled away from the lights lol

18. Re: Bugatti vs...wait, where's the competition? oh that's right,

The guy who started this post shouldnt be banned merely educated.

Bugatti is Bugatti

McLaren is McLaren

Buagtti does what it was meant to do perfectly.
#1. Have a huge, hugh-horsepower engine
#2. Loads of grip.
#3. Superluxuiours ride, materials and interior aswell as high build quality

I love all cars that merit respect.

19. Re: Bugatti vs...wait, where's the competition? oh that's right,

this Bugatti is real
and how could u compare it to a ferrari or a lamborghini?
McLaren eats ferrari's and lamborghini's for breakfast and this bugatti gave McLaren a kick in the face.
However, due to this bugatti's high weight (approx. 3250lbs) it would not rule "any car" on the track, one area where the McLaren would succeed. Still McLaren is going to outdo this...

My friend lets get some things straight...
Bugatti veyron: 1600kg (without driver) / 1000hp = 1.6 right?
Any F1: 600kg (with the driver) / 800+hp = 0.75 do you get it know?
Power to weight ratio... It's really elementary...

One of the best cars ever build........ Bugatti always writing a history with its cars........

25. Re: Bugatti vs...wait, where's the competition? oh that's right,

Bugatti is supposedly limitng the top speed of this beast to 218 mph, they say it's too unstable at any speed above that. They are again delaying the production due to reliability issues. Sounds to me that this car isn't really all it's supposed to be, sure its powerful. I'll take an Enzo or a Koenigsegg CCR over this any day, they cost less too!!
