    Funny if you don't push too hard , scaring if you think you're a pro pilot and you can go as fast as them.

    The performance is right where it shoould be. The front is different and refreshing, but the rear of the car is just HARSH! IMO it looks awful from the back. Would be nice to see them go on a track.

    It's probably fast in corners, but not top speed.
    Although 500hp on 1 ton makes it faster than my Mazda <IMG SRC="http://www.supercars.net/servlets/cMsg/html/emoticons/smile.gif"><!-- Signature -->

    Too bad the ALMS won't let BMW race with their V8, but will let Morgan race with it. Just doesn't seem fair.

    I guess this is a production engine, I reckon it came out of the 540/740.

    Why doesn't BMW put one of their production V8's in an M3 for Le Mans? Like out of a Z8? M it up and what not.

    Sorry, I got a little off subject.<!-- Signature -->

    Thats because Porsche bitched and moaned about it. I wish I could see the '3 race with the 4 litre.<!-- Signature -->

    to drive a Morgan Aero 8 should be a delicacy...
    with a beautiful design and potent motor and a wind beating in the face, because he is convertible, imagine then to pilot an Aero 8 with 500cv!!!
    aaaaahhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!! I will have a heart attack!<!-- Signature -->

    Its gonna be fun to watch this thing zip around the track. Like watching vintage footage.

    Hey BjSiege, your first two cars on the list are good but go downhill when you start liking all of those imports!!!!<!-- Signature -->

  16. Re: Can you imagine....

    This car is vicious. i wonder how fast it would go to 100km/h and top speed.

  17. Re: Can you imagine....

    This is a cool car! A classic style with fully modern components. Saw one of the road versions in the flesh and they look better than they look on screen!

    tmbggeek, that is exactly what BMW did with the M3 GTR, basically. They took the motor out of the M5(which is the same as in the Z8) and tweeked it a tad, altered the chassis a bit, et voila! M3 GTR...but the problem was they pulled a Steve Saleen and didn't make the number of road cars necessary to compete without restriction. Let me clarify something while i'm at it; if BMW Motorsport chose to they could run the M3 GTRs this year. The issue is that they would have a whole bunch of weight and engine restrictor penalties, so many that the car would probably be relatively slow as compared to the Porsche (but definitely still faster than the Morgan). So they decided not to race this year while they built enough road cars to meet homologation regulations, and next year they will most likely be back and winning again. True, Porsche had a lot to do with these rules being strictly enforced because they complained to the ACO about the questionable legality of the car, but they had every right to complain. Would you call a gorilla versus a kitten a fair fight? Neither would I, and neither would i call the M3 GTR versus a porsche or ferrari, or most especially a Morgan, a fair fight (hell, the BMWs often turned laps almost as fast as the GTS cars). SO that's the deal with the M3 GTR: they could race, but they choose not too because they would most likely get whooped. sorry for the long tangent about a car other than the Morgan, but i just wanted to clear that up.
