  1. Re: can you say saleen?

Your right it really does, but still it's got this something that just distinguishes it from the S7.<!-- Signature -->

  2. with all the ducts and those headlights, it looks like a saleen S7

  3. Re: can you say saleen?

ya know, now that i give it another look, it looks like a mix between the S7, ZZII, and F360 Modena...<!-- Signature -->

  4. Re: can you say saleen?

    i'll give you 360.
i've never heard of the other one you mentioned, but s7?
s7=gills, gills, gills this car has single inlets that are huge if an s7 just had a big scoop instead of all those splittling things then maybe, but i DON NOT visualize this as a s7 lookalike the way things sit.<!-- Signature -->

  5. Re: can you say saleen?

Tommy Kaira ZZII, it's under a different company name now I think. Look up posts by Chii in the main forums, she's really big into Kaira.<!-- Signature -->

  7. Re: can you say saleen?

What da hell are you guys talking about, it doesn't look anything like a Saleen, it looks way better.

  8. Re: can you say saleen?-SOLUTION!!!

    I have a solution. It's a mix between the F1 & the S7...

And why the hell would Tommy Kaira change their name like that after all these years that they've made so many cars? I'm confused...of course, it may not be true.

  9. Re: can you say saleen?

This looks much better than the Saleen. It also was probably in the early stages of design when Saleen released the S7, and I'm certain a distinguished company like Hispano-Suiza wouldn't pirate another builders design style.<!-- Signature -->

  10. Re: can you say saleen?

Yeah, thats exactly what I thought. I think the area infront of the front tyres and the rear, and the way it sticks to the ground is quite like the S7. Also with a bit of McLaren in there. There is something about teh way it looks, that makes me like the S7 Better, but I can't put my finger on it.

    See ya!

  11. Re: can you say saleen?

The S7 looks much better than this, IMO.<!-- Signature -->

  12. Re: can you say saleen?

My first thought when I saw this was that it was a major copy off an S7, yet I looked at more it I saw some 360 medena in it. You decide check out the pics below.

    they're both so sweet!!!

why should there even be choices?
why cant there be a car that everyone
likes instead of having to choose
    among sooooo many sweeeeet cars?
    I JUST LOVE IT!

I personally believe that the S7 is better
only for the sole fact that we dont have
all the specs on the HS21,...WE NEED SPECS NOW!!!<!-- Signature -->

  15. Re: can you say saleen?

This thing does look Saleenesque, but to say that they copied Saleen is stupid. They probably look similar because of windtunnel testing and finding the most efficient style, not sure though <IMG SRC="http://www.supercars.net/servlets/cMsg/html/emoticons/smile.gif"><!-- Signature -->

  16. Re: can you say saleen?

I can not see how this look like a saleen at all. if anything, it looks like the McLaeren F1. This thing is extremely nice and is definetly not a copy of any car. The desighhn is just being used alot more now a days as i heard someone else say about this car. Its just the best design for speed and aerodynamics right now. Definetly not a Salleen though.

I have it now, the more I look at it, the less I see the Saleen in it that I saw before. You guys are right, it's an F1 and a 360 Modena...
    --that's it! it's a 360F1!<!-- Signature -->

  19. Re: can you say saleen?

i can say saleen very well but before i do how bout u kiss my a$$ because it looks like a mclaren,355, and mitsubishi eclipse, so lemme ask u now whats the freakin point of saying saleen

  20. Re: can you say saleen?

I don't think it looks like a Saleen except some of the lines, maybe. But any car in this class will have similar lines.<!-- Signature -->

  22. Re: can you say saleen?

Whoever said this looks like an eclipse? riiiight. . . But here's the point, the fact that at least 5 or 6 cars have been named that this car supposedly looks like just proves that it's nto a copy at all. It incorporates a little bit from a bunch of different cars and Hispano-Suiza came out with something completely new and beautiful. Sure I see a little s7 and a little F1, there's definately some 360 influence, but I could also say that it's modeled after a Honda Accord of a Forf F-150 because they both have 4 wheels! The point is the car design doesn't have to be the most creative unique and often ugly thing created, you can take what others have done, change it make it better and still come up with something new. Like I said, this car is beautiful.<!-- Signature -->

  23. Re: can you say saleen?

Why does everyone think that all supercars look like a McLaren?
This type of design has been used for a long time, Even before the McLaren. Its a design that works because of aerodynamics and other functions. Look at the Ford GT40 from back in the days. Do you see a resemblance in styling? Of course, but that doesnt mean that anyone copied everyone else. Its the same thing in the Saleen S7 Forum, some members seem to think that the Saleen S7 copied the McLaren, but it did not, It is using a design that works, And since one of the first cars to use such a design was the Ford GT40, then it is safe to say that the design for the S7 is within its origin. But thats not the case. The fact is that most supercars use the same design because it works.
