  1. from some angles (mostly the front), it looks pretty good. Others make it look weird. Good effort though.

I really like the classic body (with a few minor touches) on modern chassis/engine/suspension/etc. The 300SL being the best example of it.
I think gas monkey garage did this as well with a challenger or camaro or something.

  2. Gas Monkey did that with a 1970 Dodge Challenger, saw the episode. It was really well done too.

  3. Stangman, you seen any neat Corvairs lately? Still have a soft spot for those little fellas, and never see any locally.

  4. Yeah, like this 1965 Chevrolet Corvair Corsa?

  5. And did you see this one on Facebook?

  6. You'll like this one, a 1963 Chevrolet Corvair Monza 900.

  7. Whats up with the half vinyl top on the Corsa? Don't like that at all. Everything else is great, 4-speed 140 quad carb is is fun fun fun if you get the carbs right.

When me and my uncle were messing with the Corvairs we had one of those rampsides, and a couple of the vans.

I definitely prefer the 2nd generation cars, 65-69, the early cars look too much like boats imo.

  8. Here's a 1965 Chevrolet Corvair Monza convertible for you.
