  1. Christie’s International Motor Cars is proud to present its second biennial auction during the prestigious Le Mans Classic, 8th July 2006. After a memorable success in 2004 in selling the 1930 ex-le Mans Bentley Speed Six No. 2 team car for a marque world record price of EURO 4.188.250, and achieving total turnover in excess of EURO 10.500.000 with 94% sold Christie's are now pleased to accept consignments for the 2006 Le Mans Classic sale.

One early entry is the ex-Count Johnny Lurani, 1937 Maserati 4CM chassis 1128, already consigned out of the same long term ownership since the '60s. Estimate EURO 300,000-500,000.

If you are considering selling an appropriate Collectors Motor Car at this auction, Christie’s would be delighted to be of assistance in discussing your needs and giving you a free market valuation before the deadline of May 1st 2006.

Please do not hesitate to contact the European office for any potential enquiries.
