It's in my top 3 list for movies this year.
Yeah, buddy of mine was telling me about it yesterday, said he'd count it up there with Man on Fire. I've been dying to see that movie since I first saw the trailers.
I'm telling you Tom Cruise is so convincing as a bad guy it isn't even funny. It has some of the best shooting scenes I've ever seen. So perfect and unexpected.
So it's worth buying? I haven't seen it yet, but I hate paying to rent a DVD if I'm just going to buy it anyways.
I haven't seen it yet, but I'm just gonna buy the DVD outright. I've heard nothing but good things about this movie. Be like me.
I bought it. Compusa has the DVD w/extras for 14.99
How can you go wrong?
That is a fact
Thank you bor the back up. It is true.
Do they have the DVD available without extras? I hate extras.
They are only releasing 1 version of the movie. 2 disc set Widescreen only. (Full screen not available)
So you have no choice but to pick up the 2 disc set. You could buy it throw disc 2 in the garbage of you wanted to <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/emoticons.html"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="http://speed.supercars.net/pitlane/emoticons/smile.gif"></A>
You should all see City of God. It's better than any of the movies mentioned in this thread.
I will. And then I'll put the DVD cover and the proper disk in a normal DVD case.
Extras are stupid.
I do agree there. Usually a waste of time.
It wasn't as good as I expected. It was still good, but I think the writers took an awesome concept and some good talent and went the wrong direction with it.
It was a lot better than the average movie. I liked the whole grey style too.
I dont know what it was about it but I wasnt overly impressed with it. it was good and all but not as great as everybody said, too much hype. kinda like a Mustang. hahah sorry had to add that in there.
Is Tom Cruise's performance similar to Denzel Washington's in Training Day?
Tom Cruise's character just pissed me off, and I really hate Tom Cruise anyways. That fact ruined the movie for me, but I did think the ending was pretty cool.
Your signature is the singularly most profound thing I have ever read in my life, and I'm not even lying. You're like.... a philosopher.
it's a lot better the first time you see it. i just watched it again on saturday night and it seemed to be a lot less exciting
It was a pretty good movie...
The end made me sad, but I'm a prick.
It was good, but not that great. It's possible that it was one of the top 3 ovies of the year, but that's only because Hollywood has been putting out absolute garbage this year. Go watch the original Manchurian Candidate. That's a good movie.
i saw it tonite, its definatly one of the best movies thats come out in a long time.
