Lingenfelter is a crook that builds unreliable pieces of shit. He has no credibility.

  5. None of this is a fUcking joke and it's fUcking real to me.

You are the one thats the crook who has no credibility, a B16 in a ZO6 what a stupid idea.

  10. I can't believe people are still defending V8s. <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/disappointed.gif"></A>

  11. ahahahah, hollywood
I somehow see a relation between DragStrip disappearing around when he first shew up

  12. I seriously can't recall dragstrip being this retarded.

I sorta liked dragstrip at times...

  13. If that happened there would be someone dead within a very short period of time because I am a gun owner <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/smile.gif"></A>

  14. LOL Obviously you're kidding about it all, as a 350 pwns the shit out of the B16 in every way. Actually I doubt a B16 would give me better mileage than my 350 in a 3600 pound car because it'd be redlined the entire time it was moving. ~24 MPG like I get is pretty damn good in my car really.

  15. I'm talking about the car overall. I'm guessing(could be wrong) that engine probably weighs like 150-200 pounds more than an LS, if not even more. In many swaps that weight would "ruin" the cars balance, especially since it's a V10 and wouldn't be able to sit far enough back.

That's the magic about V8 swaps, is often they can be set farther back than stock and IMPROVE the balance... You used to add weight though in many instances, and that's no good. An old school SBC outweighs pretty much every 4 banger ever made, but with OHC 6s it often would lose weight such as with the Jags. The trick is with the LS you typically come out even or very little increase with a 4 banger, and when swapping out OHC 6s drastically lighter. AS IN it is "better" with the exception of the fact that it has a different companies engine in it.

If you didn't care about handling or cost the RS6 engine would be a beast though!

  16. Who the fu ck drives at 1500 rpm when they're going fast? It's a moot point.

  17. Oh shit its Hollywood.

  18. ok 650Nm at 6250rpm.

  19. If you had to build a sports car, which engine would you choose?

  20. 350 chevy v8.

  21. It would be quite an accomplishment for Lingenfelter himself to build anything, especially "unreliable pieces of shit," given that he's been dead for almost four years.

  22. Depends on what size sports car it is. If it were one of the barely over 1000 pounds ones I'd use something like a 4G63T or SR20DET, or a Hayabusa engine. You wouldn't want anything bigger than that in such a tiny car because balance would be screwed.

However if it were something Miata/S2000/Solstice/Sky sized I'd probably use an LS3. The fact is that when properly located it doesn't screw up the balance and doesn't add much/any weight... SO more displacement and more power without giving anything up or changing the dynamics=FTW.

You can blabber about how it's not right all day long but it IS. Many of the most legendary supercars are merely sports cars with large engines in them. They maintain the amazing handling, yet have tons of power as well. A few examples being the Shelby Cobra, Viper, Corvette, numerous Ferraris etc. I think it's funny how people freak out about putting V8s in a sports car when that is in essence what supercars are, albeit many of them are mid engined, but still. Tiny car+powerful engine=supercar.

  23. You do realize that you contradicted yourself don't you?

  24. +1000

Not bad for a Low Tech 350ci V8 which still out performs every motor that Honda has in its sports car line up while getting the same MPG.

    350>>>>>>B16

  25. Are you getting Ligenfelter confused with Hennessey?
