  1. Goes without saying that they're a bunch of n00bs too.

  2. ya.....i lol'd when i say the 6.7sec qtr mile calculated time

i wonder if the guys who run the company are actually that stupid/delusional, or if they just let their marketing guy write the website and were just too lazy to proofread it themselves.

  3. More like Gagger DP

  4. +1

  5. oh man this guy

  6. Welcome to SC.net.

  7. So they'll sell you parachutes to make the car "NHRA-compliant", but it's a convertible with no roll cage?

  9. Ok, I want to see even if they are close to be able to theoretically obtaining these numbers.

There seams to be problems with either there gear ratio info of there tire size info. Because you don't get the 50mph @6200 rpm in 1th gear, or any of the other ones like this.

From my calculations the gear should be about right, however the final drive (axle) ratio is around 5:1 not 3.31:1.

Results I am getting (for a reasonable on street tires, 9.52 m/s^2 max accel.):

    0-60mph: 3.36 sec
    0-100mph: 5.54 sec
    0-200mph: 10.88 sec
    1/4 mile: 10.63 @195mph
    Top Speed 312 mph

  10. Shouldn't be that hard to make 2K hp. Highly unlikely those numbers could be obtained with just 2k hp though. Anyways, putting this much power into a road car is rediculous.

  11. "parachutes, etc."

Maybe they offer a bolt on roll cage and roof too? <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/smile.gif"></A>

    PS Love the looks!

  14. Yes, I really don't think they will have that low of a weight, or C.d of .26, most sports cars are in the .3 to .35 range from what I have seen. Plus they are traction limited up to 150mph.

Oh, and the 312 mph top speed is gearing limited not power limited.

  15. Would be a good looking $20K Kit-car.

  16. Hey they stole my idea from 1st grade!!

  17. lamborghini shape designed as a dragster, cool

  18. Holly shit some body got a little too exited calculating those specs. The car looks amazing in my opinion, I really love it... even the taillights.

Seriously though I would love nothing more then for these specs to be correct when/if this car ever sees the light of day... but there is almost no chance of that :[

  19. yeah well im gonna build a new super car!

and its gonna have a MILLION BILLION HORSEPOWER

AND ITS GONNA WEIGH 1 kilogram!

AND GO 8 times faster than the veyron.

    dark matter???!!!

lol good luck with that gm will sue

  21. jeah right
come up with some renders then talk

  22. Just read what they had to say about their car. All I have to say to them is good luck. There so many thing that make me laugh out loud while reading.
    1. The announced HP is on race gas
    2. The car doesn't exist and the numbers are estimates (obviously done by some optimist with no clue about physics).
    3. There are no street tires that can take 300mph
    4. They say that the tires will explode before the gas runs out like it's a good thing
    5. They have no clue about branding or competing with other, more established brands
6... Blah.. Why waste my time with this since it'll never be for real and I wouldn't want one even if it was

  23. cutting the wings of a jet fighter would make a better a car
