  1. ok im goint to keep this simple, look at the 2001/2002 chevrolet lingenfelter 427 tt corvette, take a REAL GOOD look at it and you will realise that its transmission DOES handle the 802hp for long peroids of time without braking

  2. If GM can take the transmission out of a stock Cavalier, re-build it and then drop it in their NHRA sport compact car making north of 800 BHP and survive, so can Datsun.

    I mean.. a #$%#ING CAVALIER!

  3. Lol yeah, NHRA cars are designed to last waaaayyy longer than a production car with factory warranty.

btw, why would they need to "re-build" it, if your arguement is for a "stock Cavalier"? <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/disappointed.gif"></A>

  4. Missing the troll/point completely.

On one hand we have the GTR, its engine and transmission are assembled in a hermetically sealed lab, these are high performance units not found elsewhere.

On the other hand we have the Cavalier, its engine and transmission are assembled by Mexicans in a barn, it is a complete shit box whored out to every single GM small car.

If GM, GM!!!, can turn an utter shit box transmission into a race-ready transmission with a few small parts. You would think Nissan would be able to do a little something along the same lines as America, lol.

  5. the nissan Trans is actually a very good product when not abused. its faster shifting than an f1 gearbox.
the gt-r trans is faster than any shitty gm on the race track. in fact teh spec-v will prove it.

  6. hard to shift fast when youre in multiple pieces.

  7. lol

  8. Faster than F1? Doubt it. Source?

And these reliability issues are inexcuseable in such an expensive, high-tech car.

  9. the gm Trans is actually a very shitty product when used properly. its faster shifting than a Tesla gearbox. the cavalier trans is faster than any shitty datsun on the race track. in fact teh Z24 will prove it.

  10. realiability when you abuse the car... wtf

  11. Well why dont they train dealers to handle this piece of god sent machinery? I mean american do work on Ferraris, Lambos etc..

  12. remember, it was a mindless oaf who posted that

  13. its a bit hard to forget it

  14. how would braking affect the transmission

  15. I'm sorry but my car doesn't run on hopes and dreams, or in this case looks. I'm still not seeing proof that Lingenfelter or Hennessey are reliable.

  16. i never mentioned anything about braking

  17. and im not seeing any proof that they arent, hennessy may not be as reliable as lingenfelter but they more reliable than any lambo and ferrari around and if you dont believe look it up yourself.

  18. take a REAL GOOD look at it and you will realise that its transmission DOES handle the 802hp for long peroids of time without braking

  19. I've heard they're threatening to overtake Lexus and MB in initial quality rankings...

  20. mishifting while braking

  21. you have to be pretty stupid though in most cars

  22. braking as in fall apart would #$%# the trans up, i had a blond moment i was thinking bracking as in slowing the car down, my bad

  23. Oh ok I can see how you could confuse braking with bracking. You're forgiven bro

  24. break vs brake. What's bracking?
