Dark electronic music

  1. w00t I am looking at you here. I want some dark electro to listen too. I heard house is good, but I dont think that is right? Trance is great, but when it gets down and dismal it turns right back up into happy/chipper/Mario music.

List some DJ's or some yousendit/youtubes.

  2. you're asking woot? he'll probably suggest ferry corsten or something like that...

how dark are you looking for?

  3. I dont know. Something dark enough where you are in a dismal/goth mood and want to hold it. I want the music to grip me by the balls.

I am going to head out now. I expect tons of information when I get back, plus embarassment or whatever. Dude I am drunkl.

  4. ive been working on a new song. I plan on having a rough edit to mp3 tonight. do you want to check it? it's surely dark electro

  5. Ice Ages, look'em up.

  6. I think you'd dig Blutengel, but that's more inbetween industrial and gothic-wave

edit: oh and get The Hacker - Reves Mechaniques (it's dark.. and electro!)

  7. I do not know of much dark electronic music, most of the time electronic music is accompanied by flashing lights.

You didn't specify what kind of dark music you wanted.

Here's some ambient/downtempo that I find pretty sweet. I downloaded the album for the excellent remix of Aes Dana's Natti Natti (I also downloaded the Aes Dana album, and found out in the process that there's also a speed metal band called Aes Dana, which caught me slightly unawares), but the rest is good too, though I'm not too sure of the drums in the first track.

    Androcell - Efflorescence
