Hmm... Interesting theory. It's most likely to happen but i sure as hell don't want it to. The name is pretty gay now that i think about it.

  2. Re: Diablo is dead

Yeah, the name should have been switched to something much better sounding. This one sounds way too foreign for North Americans.

  3. Re: Diablo is dead

The name comes from a bull in and old bull fight in Italy that fought so bravely it was allowed to live.<!-- Signature -->

yeah im gonna go out on a limb here and say this car sucks stylistically (if thats how it's spelled). im sorry but lamborghini stayed way to close to the diablo in the style for me to consider this as any great new thing. its more like another generation diablo with a new name. i can't say good bye to the diablo. i see too much diablo in this car. as for the name i'm sure everyone already knows this but mucielago is spanish for bat. you know the flying mammal not the louisville slugger

Hey 550Wolves guess what, not everything is made for you americans, its an Italian car what do you want them to call it the lamborghini new york.i wish you americans would get your heads out of your asses and realise that you dont run the world and not everything is made for your enjoyment.

no offence meant to the people who realise this

  8. Re: Diablo is dead

I can see how think the Diablo is dead but still, who would not take a diablo that was given to you. I know the average person wouldn't.

  9. Re: Diablo is dead

Diablo is not dead. Still it is magnificent work of art and I would still cruze in it any day of the week. Murcielago is a new member of the family it has become popular, but I will never forget the Diablo. sorry it just wont happen<!-- Signature -->

  10. Re: Diablo is dead

no matter what happens the Diablo will never ever die. it has to much of a history to just roll over and die. it will simply fade into the backround. and about the name. it is perfect. you americans like ot have everything your way eh? the name is after a bull that was allowed to survive after a fight were it took something like 36 spear wounds and survived. So the name stands for strength, will, power, courage and raw brute force. I think it suits nicely. try to be professional and do a little research before you speak. <!-- Signature -->

This is a very sweet car and it has great styling and performance, but id rather have a mclaren over it anyday. No one should say anything negative about this car cause it is beautiful!<!-- Signature -->

  12. Re: Diablo is dead

This car kicks ass I agree with you on that but the Diablo will never die! The Diablo is the Legend of the Lamborghini industry. Yeah no one mentions the Countach any more, but thats because thats when Lamborghini just started to popularize. It never was a legend, but the Diablo is and Diablo will never die. In fact they will probably make both the Diablo and the Murcielago at the same time because the buyers will demand to get their Diablo. Because the Diablo my friend is a name no one will ever forget, it is the Beast of the Lamborghini Industry, people have grown attached to it and won't let go.

He is probably old enough to spell I-T-A-L-Y right you stupid #$%#

  14. With the production of the Murcielago, which is such a nice car(4 WHEEL DRIVE AND A MID ENGINE DRIVETRAIN??? NICE!!), expect the Diablo to go extinct in a short amount of time. The Murcielago is gonna do to the Diablo what the Diablo did to the Countach but i believe that it will do this even quicker than it's cousin did. I'm guessing that in 5-6 years, Diablo's will rarely be mentioned or thought of, except of course, by the owners of the cars who actually bothered to drop large amounts of cash on them. Diablo was great, but it's time is done and it needs to shove over for the rookie which will look to dominate in a couple of years. Trust me, pretty soon, rather than saying "I don't think Viper is better than Diablo" it'll be "I don't think Viper is better than Murcielago" instead. I know, it sounds awkward at first, Diablo is such a cooler name. But hey, you'll get used to it.
