does Vauxhall own Opel?

    this looks just like the Vauxhall VX220, is Opel the name used for Vauxhall outside the UK?<!-- Signature -->

    no, vauxhall is just the name of opel in great britain, it's exactly the same manufacturer... in australia for example opel is called holden... but its all opel...<!-- Signature -->

    NO, Vauxhall and opel are both owned by General Motors, maybe they are the same, but holden in australia isn't. Holden have some cars that are made by opel and vauxhall though. They are all owned by General Motors

    Exactly, kid. Opel and Vauxhaull are virtually the same company. Similar to Chevy Trucks/GMC. Holden is not the same, it just shares some platforms.

    Opel is called Opel all over the world, only not in England.

    Just FYI, the new saturn L-Series is actually 100% opel. GM just rebadges them, and sends them out the door. It's really funny to listen to the salespeople tell you how everything's "upgraded."

    Nope Vauxhall is called like that only in britain But its all kind off opel from general motors But i dont like the speedster its to exspensive you no im from holland and it costs €45.000 thats about $42.000
